-CAITLINS POV-
I brought my own gym clothes today so I look more like a cheerleader.
"Who is he who is he who is he who is here!" I begged the whole time through stretching.
"Calm down Caitie!" She blushed, doing push-ups all the way to the floor.
Today we're going outside to play flag football.
"Don't tell me you're good at this sport too." I said as we got separated into teams.
She smiled, "I'm alright." She said.
"OMG!" She suddenly said.
"What what?" I asked.
"He's on our team!" She whispered.
"OMG WHEREE!" I said, looking at the boys in our group.
"Stop making it obvious omg Caitlin it's just a crush." She said.
"Okay we need a quarterback." I hear someone say. "I'm playing running back if that's okay."
"The quarterback has to be a girl!!" I hear the gym teacher say.
-CAROLINE'S POV-
Omg he's coming up to me.
"Caroline." He smiled.
Omg what!! Caitlin smirks at me.
"Will you be qb? You got an arm!" He said and he playfully punched my arm.
Oh. My. Lord.
"Sure!" I said and he winked. HE WINKED.
When he left Caitlin turned to me. "I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that's him."
"Yeaahhh." I said.
"He's cute. What's his name?" She asked.
"Niall Horan." I said.
"I ship you guys alreadyy." She said and my stomach's still fluttering.
-NIALL'S POV-
I think Caroline likes me.
She was really good at football I'm impressed!
And that Caitlin girl didn't seem to like football, she was looking at the guys play most of the time.
-CAITLIN'S POV-
We got dressed and left the gym and made our way to lunch.
"Hey so what do you know about Luke Hemmings?" I said out of nowhere to Caroline.
"Tell me what you know about him first because you can take him different ways." She said.
"What do you mean? I'm just wondering because we're kind of enemies.. He hit me with a door and then I threw up on him." I said and her eyebrows furrowed. "Don't ask any questions." I finished.
"Okay well he's a junior, a year older then us, he's like kind of popular but noone really likes him. Everyone thinks he's.. Bad. Him and his friends. He's dated a bunch of girls but he hasn't dated lately, and he's having family trouble apparently. Him and his friends go out on weekends and noone knows what they're up to but it can't be good. I mean do you see the way they dress?" She said and I thought hard about every word she said. Luke's bad huh..?
"Oh." I just said.
"Yeah so you better keep him as your enemy and nothing more. But don't let him get inside your head Caitlin, he'll get you off track."
"I don't get what you're saying." I said, kind of frustrated.
"Look he's good looking and all but just.. Stay away from him alright?"
"But why?" I asked.
"Hey I thought you'd want to stay away from him. Aren't you enemies?" She asked, clearly confused.
"Yeah. I uh.. Hate his guts." I said but a part of me wanted to know more.
For the rest of the school day the thought of him kept creeping back into my mind.. And when I got home I realized that Caroline was right because my mixed feelings for Luke Hemmings were getting me completely off track.
