-LUKE'S POV-

Just as planned Caitlin came over to me Monday morning, wearing a denim skirt with her hair braided and a white top. And of course she looked scared even though she tried not to show it, I'm Luke. I'm intimidating.

"Hey." I said quite seriously when she came over.

"Hi." She stood awkwardly.

"So lemme get this straight. We hate eachother right?" I asked.

"Um well do you hate me?" She asked.

"Well yea." I said and it killed me inside.

"Oh." She said and stepped back. "This is what you 'had to tell me?'" She said, furious and I just nodded like a jerk thinking of what Mikey and Ash said.

"Well that's a relief!" She said. "Because I hate you too Lucas Hemmings!" She said and stormed away.

-CAITLIN'S POV-

I went straight to the bathroom, ignoring Caroline calling me from behind.

"Caitlin? Caitlin! Caitie wait up!"

I walked into the bathroom and Caroline followed.

"CAITLIN!" She said and turned me around.

"Awe why are you crying?" She asked and I shook my head and wiped my tears.

"Luke." She said angrily. "What did he say?" "You know what? You can tell me later because we're gonna be late and you probably shouldn't talk about it right now."

I nodded and took a deep breath and walked out. Thankfully my mascara was waterproof today.

"I'll see you in Science. Sure you're okay?" She asked.

"No but I can manage until third period." I smiled weakly through teary eyes and she hugged me and went the other direction.

I barely made it through the two periods and I practically ran to Science because if I didn't tell Caroline everything I thought I might explode.

"Caitlin." She said when I got in. "Are you better now?"

"Not at all actually, but I don't want to tell you now and get you into trouble. I'll wait till lunch."

"You sure?" She asked and I nodded.

I felt myself heating up as the teacher rambled on about molecules or whatever again. The bell rang and I shot up. Caroline and I went straight to lunch and sat down.

"Okay so tell me everything." She said and I told the whole story before the rest of the table joined. I told it word by word because I couldn't forget a thing he said. How could I-- it's been replaying in my mind constantly.

"Aw Caitie I know how much you like him. But I have to say I did tell you so. He's bad."

"I know I should've listened to you, I shouldn't have believed a guy like him would like a girl like me. And I'm absolutely over that jerk now. I can't even stand him!" I said and Caroline agreed.

"Well he messed with the wrong girl. Because I know some secrets about them that I might just slip.."

"Secrets? Omg tell me! How do you know all of this stuff anyway?" I awed.

"I'm going to tell you something I haven't talked about in a very long time and I don't want you telling anyone, even though everyone already knows. We don't speak of it anymore." She whispered so the rest of the table couldn't hear.

"You can trust me. I trust you!" I said.

"I used to be one of them." And the bell rang for the end of lunch.
