-CAITLIN'S POV-
"Hey Luke." I said with my phone on my ear being balanced my my shoulder blade as I brushed my hair through.
"Caitlin I missed your voice." I heard him smile.
"Same."
"So what's up?"
"I have to ask you something."
"Shoot."
"So I have no friends here and I'm miserable and as if a miracle as I was sulking I got a ring on my door and long story short I was invited to a picnic tonight and I want to know if I can go."
"Will there be guys there?"
"Probably." I said, applying lipstick.
"Then no."
"Luke are you kidding me?"
"Hey you asked my permission."
"We'll that's because I thought you'd say yes! I'm miserable Luke I can make friends!"
"Oh so you can go to the picnic and find a guy friend? No way. You're with me."
"You can't stop me from going Luke I'm already ready."
"You're my girlfriend Caitie I don't care how far away you are."
"I can't believe you! So what if there might be boys there will be boys at my school in September!"
"Yeah and you know what? There will be girls at our school too."
"It's not our school anymore Luke."
"But it was! Come on Caitie don't go."
"You'd rather me stay home and be lonely?"
"You won't be lonely I'm here!"
"But you're not. You're there."
"Love doesn't know distance!"
"But life does."
"Caitlin."
"I gotta go. Bye Luke."
"Caitlin wait."
And the line went silent.
