-LUKE'S POV-
"Who ate my pizza." I said looking at the greasy empty box.
"MICHAEL CLIFFORD!!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry Luke, you had it coming! You looked down at your phone for a sec and then BAM! I ate your slice." He smirked.
"What are you doing on your phone anyway?" Calum asked.
"You know Caitlin?" I said.
"The one you hate?" Ash asked.
"Yeah. I actually don't hate her... She just hates me. And I wanted to fix that so I texted Caroline." I explained and Calum's eyes widened.
"Since when do you talk to HER?" He asked, defensive.
"I don't talk to her I just needed Caitlin's number." I glared at Calum. "Anyway, I wanna text her but I don't know what to say. I.. Think I like her."
They all gasped and said "aww" and I rolled my eyes.
"So what do I say?" I asked.
"I suggest keep the hatred thing up because if she likes you too, you'll be the one playing hard to get." Ashton said.
"Yeah just be like 'meet me on the stairs before class on Monday. We need to talk.'" Michael said. "You know, scare her a little."
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Yeah." Mike nodded and I sent her the message.
-CAITLIN'S POV-
I've been waiting all weekend for a message from Luke. I finally got it on Sunday night.
Unknown number: It's Luke. Meet me on the stairs before class on Monday. We need to talk.
Okay so not the kind of sweet text I was hoping for. I read it in my head in an angry voice because there were no smiley faces or smirky faces or anything. He even punctuated like come on.
Maybe this is a good thing. Or he could have found out I like him and he wants to tell me that he has absolutely no feelings for me.
The thought made my heart sink and I plopped backwards on my bed.
I decided to go to bed early in hopes tomorrow would come quicker.
