Chapter 8 - A&T

Before we knew it Friday arrived and Jo and I got dressed for the party after we all pulled an all-nighter to set up all the things in time. I dressed in a formal suit while Jo wore a business dress. One hour before the meeting started Ju and JYP came by and I introduced them to the team.

"Oh we invited some investors and other CEOs to this. We hope you do not mind", JYP said and I shook my head.

"The more the better", I said and excused myself and left to get ready for the introduction. Jo and the rest of the team took care of the guests. Ju came to me to tell me that everyone that was important was here.

Jo asked for everyone's attention on stage and gave me the Mic. The guests were all having a drink and applauded. The investors and CEOs were clearly confused to see me on stage.

"Welcome to the official opening of the A&T department at JYP entertainment. On behalf of the entire team I want to thank you all for coming. I am Naja, Director of this department. Let me introduce you to the new era in entertainment...", I said and started my presentation.

Within 10 min I finished my presentation and everyone applauded. Everyone was impressed by the stats and the work so far and JYP said a few words. Lastly I introduced my team and opened the party officially.

Jo met me at the side of the stage: "They loved your presentation. I even heard an investor say that he wants to hire you for his company. Oh JYP wants to introduce you to some people".

I thanked her and left to find JYP. He was talking with a few people.

" Excuse me Sir. You were looking for me", I said bowing and greeting the people without looking at them.

"Yes. Let my introduce you to these guys", he said and pointed at the people infront of us.

I looked up and had to keep my composure as I saw the biggest CEOs in the entertainment industry. Hitman from BigHit, YG from YG entertainment, Grail and Jay Park from AOMG, Han Se Min from SM entertainment and last but not least A.J from REV entertainment.

"Sir I know them well. It is nice to meet you all", I said bowing again.

YG, Hitman and Han Se Min had a quick small talk with me before JYP gave them a tour while I stayed behind with the rest.

"So now that we are alone let us relax abit. Naja how old are you?", Jay asked me smiling.

Grail and A.J hit him for the attempted flirt.

"Me. I am 25. And not interested in you. Sorry", I said and the girls burst out laughing.

"Not again. Someone as savage as these two. God, why do you do this to me?", Jay said fake crying.

"We were impressed by your talk and idea. What inspired you?", Grail asked smiling.

I couldn't believe that I was standing infront of my idols. On the inside I was fan girling so hard.

I pointed at the artists and trainees.

" They did and your work aswell", I said and they both blushed.

"Good to see that we inspire people like you. But you inspired us aswell. I am excited to see your progress", A.J said.

The rest of the party I spend talking to the VIPs of the party with Jo who left after 2 hrs. Towards the end there was only my team, GOT7, Uka, Twice and Stray Kids left. They seemed to have a good time so I decided to take a breather. I got myself a drink and watched them dance and have a blast. Something was off though when I took a closer look. Jinyoung was wasted. He was flirting with some members of Twice which the rest of the boys found amusing except Jackson. I went over to my Med team and asked them to set up a cocktail to get him sober and they headed to their room and set it up.

"They are having fun", Jo said amused and walked to our office.

" Yeah are you going to do something about it?", Uka asked me as he looked worried at the crowd.

I nodded and went over to the party people.

"Guys thanks for coming. I would like to call it a day. Twice and Stray Kids I would like to ask you to leave now. These guys owe me something and need to help clean up. They lost a bet", I said smiling and they all bowed and left.

I turned to my team and said: "Ok great work today guys. I will see you tomorrow. We will close up soon".

My team knew me well so they all left except Jo, the Meds, GOT7 and me.

" When did we lose a bet?", BamBam asked me confused.

I turned to my Meds who rolled in the IV waiting for my signal.

"Jinyoung take a seat. You are completed wasted. We will get you sobberish so you can attend that Fansign tomorrow without smelling like a bar and having a hangover", I ordered but he did not inch.

"See she noticed. Get your ass on that chair", Jackson yelled annoyed at his friend.

"I am fine", Jinyoung said and headed to the front door. It was locked. I had asked Jo to lock it.

"You will leave after you get this IV. Not before that", I said firmly and he looked really pissed.

"Why do you interfere?", he spat at me furious.

"Yah Jinyoung what is wrong with you? Why do you talk to her like that?", JB asked him confused about his behaviour.

"I was just having fun", he said laughing and Jackson was ready to charge at him but gladly Uka held him back in time.

"This is what you call fun? You flirting with the girls who looked super uncomfortable. You are clearly not yourself", I said to him seriously.

He looked down and did not say anything.

"Why do you care?", he asked me.

I went over to him and gave him a hug.

"Because I care about you all. I consider you all my friends. Including you", I whispered to him and he started to sob.

"GROUP HUG", Yugeom called out and they all gave Jinyoung a big hug and I managed to ditch the masses.

Jackson felt sorry for his behaviour before but I could tell that he was worried about his friend.

"Noona did you mean it? Us being friends?", BamBam asked me excited.

"Yeah. But I love Twice more", I said laughing and they all protested.

Jinyoung sat down and got the IV and the rest helped us clean up although they did not need to do this.

"Mr. Park if you let people in your life can be so much more fun. You have those guys and they care a lot about you and you have us and me too. We are here. We will not leave", I said before they left.

He smiled and left with the rest. Uka dropped Jo and me off at our homes and headed home himself. He was the only one that had not drunken anything and was allowed to drive one of the company cars.
