Chapter 23 - Identity

I turned around to see G-Dragon looking at me with and unreadble expression on his face.

" Can I help you?", I asked him and he just stood there tilting his head. For a minute he did not reply at all.

"You know me", he said grabbing my arm.

I was not sure what he meant and asked him: " I think you mistake me for someone else".

He grabbed on tighter and come really close. Unsure on what to do and on what he was planning I just stood there smiling nervously. I was a bit terrified of him but then I was his searching eyes. His eyes were sad and hurt. I grabbed his hand that held onto mine and removed it. G understood straight away what he did and let go.

"NJ you don't remember me do you", he stated and turned around with his shoulders hanging low.

Baffled and confused on what happened I stood there for a bit and just watched him go back to the others. I was draw out of my thoughts when one of the Docs approached towards me: " Tests are done and she is completely good. And yes she is expecting. I think her husband should see her first. You should take him down to that room. She is awake and wants to see both of you".

He pointed at a door and I texted Yoongi to come out. Just seconds later her came rushing towards me with a panicked face. I smiled and I could see him relax.

" Come on she wants to see you alone", I said walking ahead and he followed me whike fiddling nervously with his hands. We reached her room and she started crying as soon as she saw Yoongi. He rushed to her side and embraced her tightly.  I was sure that he would never ever let her go again.

I was about to leave them all but then they called me back.

" Naja come on back. I want to tell you and Yoongi here first although I am sure that you already knew before me", she said smiling and I nodded.

Yoongi watched us both in confusion but then Grail grabbed his hand and put it on her tummy. He understood wordlessly and began to smile so wide and kissed her.

" Congrats", I said to them both bowing.

" I am in my fourth month. Definitely had no idea. Thanks you your quick reaction I was saved from bigger harm. Thank you NJ", Grail said tearing up and I went over to give her a hug.

We heard a faint knock at the door and turned to see the rest of the people that came with us accumulate the room with worried faces. They saw Grails tears and A.J got super anxious on the message that would be waiting for them all. The expected the worst. It was written all over their faces. Grail wiped away her tears and stood up from the bed with the help of Yoongi. Jay was hestitant to go any closer to her and seeing him like that was unsual for him.

"I messed up", Yoongi said bowing to the others with the most serious voice I ever heard and I could not believe that he was trying to pull a prank in such a situation.

"What did you do?", Simon asked him tensed as if Yoongi just admitted to have murdered someone. He did not reply but before I could resolve the situation before it would escalate Grail spoke up.

" Well  I am expecting thanks to him", she said with a big smile and all the faces nearly fell at the same time.

A.J was the first one to congratulate them and scolding Yoongi for scaring her. It was a scence I would never forget. Those smiles and laughters all shared between people who were once strangers. G on the other hand was looking at me with a faked smile.

I was sure that I was he was hiding something about himself or us. I was not sure since he seemed super convinced that we were affiliated in some way in the past. My brain was working ever hard but I could not remember anything at all. Jinyoung put an arm around my waist and I looked to where he was standing.

He smiled at me and asked: " Hey are you ok? You seem lost in thoughts since we arrived in this room. Do not tell me that you are thinking about babies already?".

My eyes widended at his statement and I hit slightly. He started laughing and then I realised that he tried to make me laught aswell. It did not work. A.J glanced at me and G. She must have noticed something and suggested that we three went out to fetch some coffee for us all. On the way she tried to have some small talk but G was not talkitive at all. Even A.J found this odd and asked me to go back first while they would get the coffee. She waited until I closed the door and dragged G out with her.

After 10 min they were not back and  it was already very late. Grail insisted that we all should head home since it has been a long day and I did not even try to argue with her. Jinyoung offered to drive me home and I gladely accepted. On our way out we bumped into G and A.J. The atmosphere was tensed and we decided not to interfere. As we got inside the car I made eye contact with G who had noticed me on the passenger seat with Jinyoung. That expression of his face was unreadable for me.

Within 1 min we were on the highway and on the way back to my flat.

" So what is going on between you two? There is something off after you both left earlier the room", Jinyoung asked out of the blue. Afterall he had noticed that somenthing had happened.

I retold him what happened as I did not want to keep secrets between us.

" Seems like he knows you from earlier. You do not know how?", Jinyoung asked me frowing a bit.

I shook my head.

" You know I can not remember much of my childhood since that one day where I got into a car accident", I said lost in thoughts.

I have always a felt that something was missing but I was unable to remember a few years.  Now it turned out that they may have been more important than I thought.
