Classes started back on Wednesday and man has it been rough getting back into the swing of things. Adjusting to the cold early mornings is tough, I need to get back into the gym because I've definitely been slacking. Whitney still hasn't made it back, I've been tempted to call her. I haven't though since it's none of my business and most of the time it only ends with me being pissed off. After that unexpected New Year's Eve kiss I was nervous to see Sam again because I wasn't sure what to expect, but in true Sam fashion she acted like nothing had happened. I got to spend a little one-on-one time with her and it's been fun. She's so easy to be around, I catch myself worrying about what I look like or watching how I say things. It's almost like having another female best friend. It's like hanging out with Ashley Grace... Only different.
It's after lunch and I'm done with classes for the day, kicked back on the couch just channel surfing when the door slams closed. I sit up to see who it is and catch a brief glimpse of Taylor as he storms off up the stairs. My curiosity gets the best of me so I get up off the couch and follow him. Before I even make it up the stairs his door slams so hard a picture falls off the wall. I pick it up putting it back where it belongs second guessing my decision to poke the bear.
I knock on his door anyway. I'm met with a very angry Taylor as he jerks the door open, "What?!"
Holding my hands up in self-defense I back up, "Whoa, chill bro. What's going on?"
"Fucking girls, two of them to be specific." He steps back allowing me into the room before he closes the door behind him.
I clear my throat, "Care to elaborate?"
"That bitch Megan. Turns out she didn't cheat on me," I laugh and he shoots me a glare, "Not because she didn't want to."
"Oh, how did you find out?"
He runs his hands through his hair, frustration straining his features. "I overheard her and one of her friends talking while I was picking up a book from the library. The dude she was after came home with a girlfriend, fiancé, fuck buddy, I don't know. But regardless he came home with some girl and shot her down. I guess they had been talking so she just assumed they were going to hookup because that's what has happened in the past. So the whole time we were together she was talking to this fucking guy thinking they're going to hookup when she got home. I seriously can't believe I ever thought we could be serious. I'm an idiot."
"Come on, don't beat yourself up. I mean things were good at first but even you said yourself she started to change pretty quickly. I guess that's probably when she started talking to him."
Shaking his head he sighs, "Still though, I mean she had me spending money on her. On my knees begging but the whole time she's wet for this loser. She wasted my fucking time."
We talk for a few more minutes before I remember he said there were two girls that had him all riled up. "So... who was the other chick that you had a run in with today?"
"Oh man. I don't even know if I want to say." His features soften as he closes his eyes.
I laugh, "That bad?"
"Well, yeah." He clears his throat and it takes him a minute to begin. "So, Megan didn't cheat on me... But someone in this house did not have the same luck. If you can even call it that."
Now I'm worried, I mean clearly it can't be me but who?
Hesitating for just a second he starts again, "It's Jason. Riley cheated on him the whole time she was gone. I don't guess it was a planned deal like Megan thought hers was but it happened. Apparently, she was pretty happy about it too. That's why she stayed the whole time."
