There aren't any words to describe the way I feel at this moment. Watching this girl, I've tried so hard to please with her head in someone else's lap, I'm disgusted. Once my stomach empties, I head back up the stairs to the bathroom. I can't even look at myself in the mirror. With my eyes down I rinse my mouth out with water. I want nothing more than to just crawl into bed and sleep for the next week. But, I'm stone cold sober and wide awake.
Before the door even opens, I hear her coming. I'm not doing this, I won't. I flip the blankets back and reach the door just as she pulls it open. Pushing my way out into the hall I start, "I don't even want to hear what you have to say Whitney. Just go. I don't care if you go with him, or go back to your place. Just get out."
"Derek, don't be like that. I..."
"I'm telling you right now. Either get out or I'll put you out. All three of you."
She has the nerve to look shocked, "Oh, so now you're going to be a tough guy? What are you going to do if I don't leave huh Derek? Beat me?"
"I would never put my hands on you and you know it. Just go. I can't even look at you right now." My voice comes out in a disturbingly calm tone for the way I'm feeling right now.
Her mouth opens and closes a few times as she sways, like she just can't find the words to say. "Save your breath Whitney. Nothing you say is going to change it, just leave."
I take a step sideways to walk around her, she tries to stop me but I hit the stairs and jog down. Rounding the corner to the common room I clap my hands waking Steve. "Ok boys, you've overstayed your welcome. Time to get the fuck out."
A grin spreads across Kurt's face, "Come on now buddy. Don't be upset, I don't mind, we can share."
"Nah, I don't think we can. You can have her. Why don't the three of y'all pile into that piece of shit truck you drove up here and take off."
"Wow, so I guess it's only if you see it, then it's a problem." Steve stretches out before he goes into a coughing fit.
My eyes burn a hole into him, "What is that supposed to mean?" I'm certain I know the answer to that question but inside a sick part of me wants to know for sure.
He sputters out a few more nasty coughs before he snickers, "I mean we all had a pretty good time when y'all were down our way. You didn't seem to mind then as long as she made it home to your bed."
"Yeah man, and that night it was way more than that little scene you just caught. You're lucky to have her my dude." Kurt decides to pipe up again, "Girl's a freak."
Whitney appears at my side, "Derek come on. It's late. Let's all just go back to bed and we can talk more about it in the morning baby." Her hand runs down my arm and I have to suppress the gag that threatens to bubble up into my throat.
"You know what? I don't give a fuck what any of you do at this point. I'm done arguing with you. Stay here until morning when you sober up and then get the fuck out. I'm going to bed. You can stay down here with them."
"But Der.." I hold my hand up and she stops.
Without another word I turn and go back to my room. I'm honestly a little surprised when Whitney doesn't try to follow me, relieved but surprised all the same. Silently I crawl back into my bed, maybe I can get a little sleep, I doubt it but it's worth a shot. My head is aching, my stomach turning, it's going to be a restless night.

When I wake it's nearly 2:00 in the afternoon, I never sleep this late. I'm surprised to find the room empty. I wonder what fresh hell awaits me downstairs.
