Day three of waking up with my head in the trash can. Food poisoning is no joke. This is worse than the damn hangover. I hurl again, I don't know how there is anything left. I swear my abs have gotten more of a workout from puking than they would've in a month at the gym. My head is throbbing, my chest aching as I lean back against the wall. I don't know how much more I can take of this, dragging a damn trash can to all my classes is really a pain in the ass.I guess about the only good thing is that I've gotten to know a few of my housemates better since I can't go to work. Most of them are pretty cool, I got pretty lucky there. I've also had a chance to study a little bit, when I'm not emptying my stomach of everything I've ever eaten. Really can't wait for this shit to be over.
Jason stirs in his bed and pulls a pillow over his head. He's been partying almost every night. I guess just making his way around, he's a mess. Other than being a little bit of a man-whore, he's a good dude. He's pretty respectful of our room and thank the heavens he hasn't brought anyone home while I've been sick. I would probably have ruined any chance he may have had.
Finally, I pull myself together and grab my mouthwash. I head out to the bathroom to rinse this taste out of my mouth, I swear I'm not gonna be able to taste anything but stomach acid for weeks. My stomach gurgles as I push the bathroom door open. Oh no, it's so humid in here. A cold sweat creeps up my spine and I feel another wave coming up my throat. I suppress a gag as I swish the mouthwash around. I spit, take a deep breath and rinse the sink out.
The curtain on the stall to my left swishes open and out waltzes Ashley. This girl has no shame, not that she should, but she has no hesitation about walking around butt ass naked. Shaking her hair out, she grabs her towel and leans over to wrap her hair up in it. "Hey D. How you feeling today? Any better?"
"Ugh, I wish. You've got this whole bathroom steamed up. It's not helping my stomach much." I feel another gag coming and swallow hard. This time I can't push it back down. Rushing into the stall, the door bangs open. I barely make it into the bowl. "I guess that answers your question huh? Fuck me this sucks."
"Sorry.. I just got home.. Matt was helping me with some stuff for class last night." She blushes turning away from me.
A smile creeps across my face, "Last night huh? And here I thought Ashley was a good girl. Hell I figured you had a boyfriend back home or something." I suck in a deep breath from my seat on the floor and shake my head. "Naughty girl Ashley."
She throws her sponge at me. "Shut up fucker. I feel so dirty. I've been in here for like 45 minutes trying to scrub myself clean. That's why it's so steamed up. I just know he isn't going to keep his big mouth shut. Me and my stupid hormones." Rolling her eyes she picks her sponge up before she puts it in her bag.
"I don't know, Matt isn't that bad. Now if it was Jason you might have a problem. I guess maybe Clark too. Doesn't your girl have a thing for him or something though?" I push myself up off the floor and flush the toilet.
Pulling her hair down out of the towel, she runs her fingers through it and wraps the towel around herself. "Yeah, I wouldn't touch Jason with a ten foot pole. And Marie would flip shit on me if I went after Clark, she's got it bad. I took the walk of shame with her this morning." She laughs and blows a breath out, shivering a little. "Besides what made you think I had a boyfriend back home?"
"I don't know. You just didn't seem too interested in anybody around here. You're a catch Ash." She eyes me up and down.
"Ironic isn't it? I tell you all the time how many girls have a thing for you and you can't see it but here I am doing the same thing. I guess I just didn't think anyone would be interested." She points her toothbrush at me. "Let's make a deal, I'll pull my head out of my ass if you'll do the same. Deal? We gotta live a little D."
