The twins and Lily reached the compartment, stumbling and breathless. They slid the door of the compartment open and walked inside. Rose and Jessica were sitting inside, surrounded by a knot of giggling girls. The moment the trio entered the compartment, all conversation stopped. Jessica had her mouth open, Rose was staring at Lily for an explanation and the other girls had their eyebrows raised. Everyone was just frozen and were staring at each other. Winter just whispered to Olivia, "I'm the ice breaker!" Then, she just coolly strolled to Jessica and said, "Jess, my friend! It's so good to see you!" She stuck her hand out to Jessica and then froze as if she finally understood what embarrassment was. Olivia wanted to run out of the room as fast as she could but she had to help Winter.

She cleared her throat and said, "Hello fellow Hogwarts students! I have no experience in speech giving but I'll give it a shot-" This comment was met nervous laughter. "I am sorry to disturb your peace but we just had to meet our good friend Jessica, as my twin just demonstrated in an ill-advised way," There was some more laughter on this. Olivia felt elated, she just had to keep it up. Winter strolled back up to Olivia and put an arm around her twin."But I think Jessica will accept my apology to her," continued Winter.

Jessica finally unfroze and said,"Yes Winter, I have no reason to be so angry at you. Guys, I knew these twins from the muggle world and now I know them in the wizarding world too!" Lily, uncomfortable in large, unknown crowds, quietly excused herself to use the washroom. Meanwhile, the twins were enjoying themselves, entertaining the crowd and making new friends. They were naturally funny! Soon they started playing exploding snap with the occasional card blowing up. Lily's spirits suddenly lifted while she was coming back from the bathroom because of the snapping noises that she knew belonged to her favorite game. She jogged to the compartment, determined to enjoy. And enjoy she did, with occasional joke or card blowing up. Making fun of the person's blackened, shock-filled face would never lose its appeal. No one was disappointed though, when the train slowed down, finally skidding to an end because catching the first glimpse of the Hogwarts' tower never loses its appeal either. "We'll be going by the boats, right?" asked Olivia, excitedly.

"No we'll be going by golden carriages made of 100% gold pulled by magnificent white palominos!" retorted Lily. "Of course we're going by the boats, silly!"

"You've for a good imagination! Ever considered writing?" asked Winter.

"I tried her! It was disastrous!" replied Rose.

"Hey! Any six year old writing would be a disaster! " protested Lily.

"Hey Lily! Wouldn't 100% gold be impossible? 100% gold is too soft for moulding," said Olivia, all of a sudden.

"You're a nerd," said Rose, approvingly.

"Ugh! Thanks but no thanks for the science class!" complained Winter.

"Are you living Winter? It's impossible to live with nerds? I feel bad for you!" sympathised Lily.

"Ahem! You're very own cousin is a nerd!" pointed out Olivia.

"I meet her once a week or something but you both live together! How do you survive it Winter?" asked Lily.

"Well, once you get used to someone blabbering, it gets quite easy to block out and she isn't a continuously blabbering nerd!" Winter added hastily, remembering that she owed Olivia one. Olivia beamed. "And this is how the subject changes from Hogwarts to nerds!" said Rose. Everyone simultaneously looked out of the window, finally giving their full and undivided attention to the Hogsmeade Station. Olivia peered through the window into the mist-covered platform. "That isn't Hagrid, is it?"asked Olivia, pointing to a large shadow behind a lantern.
