In the  Present at Storybrooke General Hospital. Mary Margaret places flower by an anonymous patient's bedside, holds his hand. Does the same for a man in the ICU with a wristband naming him "John Doe,"  Henry is staring out his window at the Storybrooke Clock Tower. It reads 8:15 pm.  Emma walks into Granny's Bed and breakfast where Granny nd Ruby are arguing.

Granny shouts through the room " You're out all night, and now you're going out again."
Ruby groans as she walks done the stairs in her usual type of outfit. "I should've moved to Boston!" she snaps.  Granny snaps at her back, raising her voice. "I'm sorry that my heart attack interfered with your plans to sleep your way down the Eastern Seaboard!" she shouts.
Emma shuffles forward. " 'Scuse me? I'd--like a room?" she says walking to the front desk. Both ruby and granny stop shouting and look at Emma. She smiles excitedly and puts on her glasses.  Emma nods not knowing what the big deal was and granny fetches a ledger.granny looks at her still smiling. You could tell she didn't get this chance often. "Would you like a forest view or a square view? Normally there's an upgrade fee for the square, but as the rent is due, I'll wave it."  Emma shrugs " Square is fine." Granny smikes putting pen to paper "Now. What's the name?"
Emma leans Agaisnt the counter. "Swan. Emma Swan."

Mr. Gold Appears behind Emma. "Emma.. What a lovely name."
Emma turns around amd narrows her eyes. How had he got in here so quietly. She looks down and sees a walking stick.  He wasn't old,  why did he need one. It must be an injury "Thanks."
Granny sighs and removes a roll of cash from a drawer, hands it to Mr. Gold. "It's all here."
Mr. Gold Accepts it without counting. "Yes, yes, of course it is, dear. Thank you. " he smiles. He then slowly turns to Emma. "Enjoy your stay, Emma". He says elongating her name.

Emma lowers her eyebrows confused  "Who's that?"
Ruby who was watching Gold through the curtains replies " Mr. Gold. He owns this place."
Emma Looks at granny. "The inn?"
Granny she grumbles. " No. The town. So! How long will you be with us?"
Emma leans on the counter and drums her fingers on the top as the ledger is filled "A week. Just a week."
Granny smiles and dots the page with her page. "Great." she Hands Emma an old-fashioned key with a swan inside a circle on the handle.

" Welcome to Storybrooke."

In the Mayor's House Henry sits in his own bedroom staring out his window at the clock tower. The clock turns to 8:16. Henry grins.
