Every night, when the clock strikes twelve, you hear a wolf cry. You think that it's just a wolf or a coyote near the mountains in your village, so you don't get scared. However, the howling seems to sound closer and closer to you and Kris' house.
So tonight, you decided to stay up until twelve, since Kris is not home until one o'clock, you knew you were fine.
The clock strikes twelve and you exactly hear a wolf cry coming from your backyard garden. You were startled and you are also scared.
"Okay, this is it. I need to know this." you mutter.
Before walking down stairs, you grab the flashlight and keep the lights off. You open the back door and you hear noises. You hear large footsteps and the shrubs are making loud noises. You hear growling and what sounds like a wolf eating another creature.
"I can do this. Hwaiting." you mumble doing a fist pump.
You slowly and quietly step a foot to the grass and you hear a dog whimper. You walk towards the direction of the sound and turn the flashlight on. Right there in the corner of the fence, and under the tree, is a wolf eating a poor coyote.
You gasp and scream in fear. You dropped the flashlight and the wolf turns to you. You quickly grab the flashlight fin the ground and put it straight to the wolf's direction.
In front of you, you see the wolf stand like a human and it changes it's shape. He turns into a person. He turns into Kris.
"K-Kris. Y-you're a," you start. "Wolf. you whisper.
He looks at you with his bloody face, his hand and shirt stained with blood.
"Baby, I wanted to tell you. Kunde, I didn't know how to." he cries.
"You could've just told me." you whisper.
"I'm not a monster. Please, don't e scared. Gajima, (Y/N). Saranghae." he cries kneeling in front of you.
You touch his shoulders and help him up but he wouldn't budge.
"Ireona. Ireona." you tell him and he gets up.
"Look Kris, I love you no matter what you are. What I just don't understand is, why didn't you tell me? Are all the boys wolves too?"
"Ne. I'm one of them." he mutters. "People think we're monsters. You see me as a monster, you do." he trembles.
"I don't baby." you say and kiss him. You didn't care about the blood on his mouth, you just focus in the butterflies that you get when you kiss him.
"Look at me though." he says gesturing to his blood stained body. "And that." he points to the coyote.
"So? You'll clean yourself and you'll be okay again. Kris, it doesn't mean your like that you are bad."
"I am."
"Hey, listen to me. You are not. I know you, you won't hurt people, you won't hurt me." you say taking his hand.
"Mian, Jeongmal Mian that I am not the perfect boyfriend. You're not suppose I date a dog and spend the rest dbyour life with him." he looks down an you cup his face.
"I love you. I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did. I love you as you are." you kiss him again.
"I love you too. Komawo." he tells you. "Oh, and that's Backstreet Boys babe. As long a you love me." he winks.
"Come on let's get you cleaned up and I'll call a cleaner. We'll just say that coyotes did that. Kaja." you say holding his hand tight.
"Saranghae." he whispers and you smile.
