106. EXO Tao [Requested] - New Year's Kiss (Cute, Romantic)

You walk in Tao's family house in Qingdao, Shandong, China. You were so nervous when you arrived in China because you are meeting his parents for the first time and spending New Year's Eve with them Back in Korea you and Tao spent Christmas with your family, so you wanted to do this to for Tao. Tao rang the doorbell of the house and you immediately garbbed his hand and he looked down at you in concern. 

"Gwaenchanha?" he asked and you took a deep breath and closed you eyes. You simply nodded and she lightly squeezed you hand to reassure you that everything will be okay. 

"They will like you. No, scratch that they already do," he told you with such a warm and sweet smile. 

"Keurae? That's a relief," you said letting out a breath. 

The door finally opened and it was Tao's mom. "Zitao my son!" she exclaimed and hugged her son, "Is this (Y/N)? You look lovely," she told you and you smiled at her. 

"Nihao Mrs. Huang," you bowed. 

"Oh honey, call me mom if you want," she told you and you just nodded. She then hugged you and said, "It is so nice to finally meet you sweetie. Zitao here is right, you are really pretty." 

"Xiexie," you replied and hugged her back. 

"Erm...Ma, can we go inside? It's freezing," Tao said and bot you adn his mom laughed. 

"Guys! Zitao and (Y/N) are here now!" his mom yelled and the whole family shifted their attention on you. 

They all said hello to you and Tao introduced you to them with full confidence, he even tried bragging about your work as a model and also as a designer at the same time. You just smiled at the compliments that you got and thank them. Tao stood next to you the whole entire night with hand on your waist. The New Year's Countdown party went really amazing and you got along with his family members, including his cousins and his aunts. Some of his old friends from high school also welcomed you warmly and you were so overwhelmed. 

"Alright, there is only a minute left! Everyone gather in the living room!" Tao's mom yelled and everyone went to the living room as said. Couples stood next to each other and kids held their party poppers along with their blow horns. Tao stood next to you smiling and you felt your heart beat faster as each second pass. Without even knowing it, there was only 10 seconds left on the timer.

"10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!" everyone yelled at the same time, the kids blew their blow horns and some of them popped the party poppers. The time seemed to go really slow as you trun your head to face Tao and he slowly leaned in to plant a kiss on your lips. You kissed him back and held you back with one hand and the other cupping you face. You placed your arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. He then pulled away and you found him blushing like crazy. 

"Happy New Year jagiya," he said resting his forehead on yours. 

"Happy New Year," you replied and rubbed the tipd of your nose on his. 

He hugged you tightly and whispered into your ear, "I'll be back. Stay here." With that he left you in teh crowd and ran up to the stairs of the house. "May I have your attention please!" he yelled. 

The crowd went quiet and put all their attention on Tao. "Happy New Year!" he greeted, "So, I would like to make an announcement, a very special one. Tonight, I brought my amazing girlfriend with me here in my hometown to meet my family and spend New Year's Eve with her. This night, I also witnessed how all of you warmly welcomed her in the family and because of that I would like to thanks all of you. When we came here, (Y/N) was so nervous. Just as I rang the doorbell, she grabbed my hand and she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. I told her it will be alright, and that all of you already love her, and you guys didn't fail me at all," he chuckled and everyone did too, including you. 

"Anyhow, what I wanted to say or more of ask is. Are you guys willing to accept her in our family, like officially?" he asked and walked back down to you. You stood there with wide eyes and the words were lost somewhere in your brain. You heart skipped a beat when he kneeled on one knee in front of you and held up a red velvet box. 

"(Y/N), will you marry the brave Huang Zitao?" he said and without even knowing, tears escaped from you eyes and you covered you mouth with both of your hands. But you laughed when he said the 'brave Huang Zitao.' 

You were too overwhelmed to say anything so you just nodded your head and he took the ring off the box and slipped in through your ring finger. Everyone applauded the two of you and cheered. You hugged him and he cried as soon as he saw you nod. He sniffed and you laughed. 

"Brave Huang Zitao huh?" you whispered to him and he laughed. 

''I am actually brave jagi,'' he confidently responded which made you giggle. 

"Alright, let's not ruin your moment. Let's just say, you really are brave," you teased and he pulled away from the hug. 

"Ya," he pouted. 

"You're such a cutie Tao. But honestly, you are brave. Because you just proposed to me in front of everyone, that's what a real man is, the one who expresses his true feeling from inside." 

"Told you I am brave," he grinned and you went on your tippy toes to kiss him on the lips. He then helped you by holdinh you hips and you wrap your arms around his neck. 

"Wǒ ài nǐ," you said resting your forehead on his. 

"Waah, you know madarin jagi?" he teased and you playfully his arm. 

"I do know madanrin, pabo," you giggled. 

"Wǒ ài nǐ," he replied and kissed you once again.
