30. SHINee Jonghyun - Meet and Greet (Sweet)

You and your boyfriend Jonghyun got married secretly. Only family and really important and trusting friends were invited. No one told any other person about it, no papparazzis, no fans.

"I don't think it's a good idea for me to go on a meet and greet with you." you say.

"But I want you to come." he pleas.

"I would want to come, but you already announced to the public about our marriage." you say looking down.

"Hey, I'm here and I am not regretting that I married you." he say cupping your face.

"Arasseo."

"Kaja." he say taking your hand.

The whole way to the venue you were nervous, trembling, your hands are shaking. You've never felt this nervous your whole life. You're heartbeat gets faster and faster as you see fans start to swarm the place. The windows were blacked out so no one can see who's inside, but the fans know that it's them inside.

"(Y/N) noona, gwaenchanha?" Key ask you worriedly.

"Ne. Gwaenchanha." you answer trying to look fine.

"Look, we're here to protect you and defend you. No one will lay a hand on you, we promise." Onew says as Jonghyun reassures you with a warm smile.

"We're almost there guys. I already told the guards that they need to surround noona." Minho says looking out the window.

"We're here." Taemin says.

When the van arrives the parking lot, there are tons of fans, massive amount of people that the driver needs to drive slowly to make sure he won't run over someone. The fans swarm the car and a fan hits the window. You startled.

"Hey, hey. It's okay, I'm here. I'm here." Jonghyun assures you holding your hand tightly.

"I'm not gonna let you go." he adds as he plants a soft kiss on your forehead.

"What if-" you start.

"It's okay. Just trust me. Saranghae." he whispers in your ear. His sweet words made the uneasy feeling go away, at least for a short period of time.

The driver was told to pull the car over at the private parking lot where no fans are allowed, also for the protection of the boys and you. The driver opens the door for you and you come out, not letting go of Jonghyun's hand.

"Alright, guys we are entering the mall. All the guards that are assigned for Mrs. Kim please surround and protect the two of them. The rest are assigned for the boys. Arasseo? Let's go!" the manager tells everyone.

"It's gonna be okay. I'm here." your loving husband repeats over and over and you let the words sink in and trust him and his words.

The fans started screaming, cameras start to flash. You take a deep breath and hold tight on your husband. You hear some people scream hate, saying your ugly, your a band wrecker, that you're no good for their Jonghyun oppa. Some people scream sweet words, saying your the best girl for him that you made him happy. But the hate are the ones that hit straight to your feelings. You want to cry and run away, but you know that haters will love that show. Weakness isn't the key to the problem, but facing them and making them realize that they can't get to your heart inside, is the best solution.

The boys were called on stage and you are left back stage. There some crew that were so nice to you, including the make up artist. They keep on reassuring you that everything will go smooth and as planned. You trust them and try youor best to keep calm.

"(Y/N), your Jonghyun wants you up there." one of the crews say.

"Ne." you say getting up. You see your husband down from the stage and offer his hand. You take them and he holds your hand tightly. He gives you a reassuring smile before he kisses you on the lips.

"It's okay. I'm here." he tells you once again and you nod.

The two of you come up on stage as the host says your name. Haters scream mean words and call you names, some even made a poster insulting you. Instead of staring at it and listening to them, you drift your attention to the loving and sweet fans. The host hands you a microphone.

"Annyeonghaseyo. Nanun Kim Jonghyun-imnida, and this is my lovely, amazing wife, Kim (Y/N)." he tells the fans.

"I know that the wedding was sudden and a secret. However, we did that for my wife's safe." he tells the fans and they start screaming 'Boo!'

"Make her talk!" One fan or a hater screams.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Taemin tells them.

"Make her talk! Make her talk!" the fans start to cheer.

"I-" Jonghyun starts but you cut him off.

"Annyeonghaseyo. I'm Kim (Y/N), and I know that I did something that upsets almost half of the people in here. But, I would want you to know that I didn't do it for fame or money. I love him and I am willing to risk everything, anything for this man. Please do not hate them, please don't be disappointed on Jonghyun and make that the reason to leave the fandom or send hate to him. You're suppose to hate me, not him." you tell them and your eyes start to water.

"Yeah! You're right! We should send hate to you! And who gave you the right to use his last name? You're just a slut!" someone yell from the crowd.

"Stop! Just everyone please stop! She has the right to use my last name because she is the woman that I love, the woman that I married. Don't send hate to her, don't send hate to anyone. This is my right, my decision. I love this woman, only her. I didn't intend to hurt your feelings, but please think of what we feel." Jonghyun say as the tears stream down his face.

"(Y/N), we promised each other that we will get through this, and that hate will not be the reason for us to break. I also promised you that I will be with you forever, in sickness and in health. Saranghaeyo, Mrs. Kim (Y/N). Forever." he tells you looking straight to your eyes.

You wipe his tears with your thumb and you were surprised when you feel his lips on yours. You were expecting 'booing' and fans throwing things, but instead they cheered and congratulates the two of you.

"Saranghae Kim Jong Hyun." you whisper to him as he pull away.

He smiles at you and the meet and greet starts. The fans came up to hug you and take a picture with you. You know some of them are faking for the sake of the fandom, but you know that most of them are sincere. Jonghyun looks at you with a warm and sweet smile, mouthing 'I love you' before looking away.
