The third letter of the month just arrived at the mail box. As soon as you see the mail man pull over in front of your house, you waited eagerly by the window, watching as the mail man put the envelope inside the mail box. The mail man drives away and you quickly run outside barefoot, not bothering the burning heat of the pavement. You immediately open the mail box and find the letter that you've been waiting for ever since last week.
"Jinki, you are so old fashioned." you mutter as you reach your door.
"I like it." you cheerfully say and run to the living room after kicking the door close.
You plop on your couch as you turn the television on. You quickly open the letter and read his amazing handwritten, old-fashioned love for you.
Dearest Jelaine,
You waited didn't you? Well, this is the last letter of the month. Wow, it did work. Daebakjagiya! Today, the boys and I went to meet some fans and unfortunately, most of them said they hated you. I just smiled and signed their stuff. I just hate it when they say that, it's disappointing. This letter will contain some bad news, I don't even know if I have good ones. Mianhae.
First thing is, I can't go home yet. I know your birthday is coming up and I can't be there. But, a letter can make it up right? Maybe not since I won't have time to write one after this. Mianhaeyo.
Things changed, not like before....
"Is that it? No 'P.S I love you'?"
You search the paper for more message, but nothing. You put the paper down as your look down. You start to worry, different things played in your mind.
"Is he breaking up with me? Did he find another girl?" you ask yourself.
You decided to make food for yourself and you sit on the counter trying everything that can help you push your negative thoughts away. After eating, you watched Carrie all by yourself, called a friend, read a whole entire novel, went on your laptop, cleaned the house, and eat dinner. You wash up and drop on the bed.
"What a nice day." you sarcastically say and grab a pillow to cover your face.
"Ahhhh!" you scream as loud as you can with the pillow.
"The cops might think I'm harassing you or something." you hear a familiar voice and you quickly threw the pillow and sit up.
"Jinki..." you whisper.
"Yah, It's like you saw a ghost or something." he says letting out light chuckles.
"You're here!" you nearly yell as you run up and hug him as tight as you can.
"Yes I am." he chuckles,hugging you back.
"I was worried."
"Waeyo? Oh, the letter? Well..." he said putting you down.
"Yah, Jinki..." you say scared.
"Things changed you know, while I was gone."
"What do you mean by that?" you say as you start to tremble and take steps away from him.
"Things changed. I realized things, I-"
"Just say it." you coldly say.
"I realized while I was away that, I miss you more and more everyday I don't see your beautiful face, hear you voice and you beautiful laugh. I want to be able to see and hear those every single day. I wanna be with you for the rest of my life, that I want you more than just a girlfriend. I want to take this huge step of becoming your husband. I want you to be my wife Jelaine, I don't want to let you slip away from my life. I don't see my life without you. Will you marry me?'' he finishes it by kneeling down in one knee in front of you. Your eyes widen and your hands cover your mouth in shock.
"Jinki... Yes! I'd love to." you say kissing him and he twirls you around. He sets you down and slide the ring on your finger.
