We stopped talking for about a week and it hurt, but we got over it.
You told me, "I love you," that Saturday and I tried catching my breath.
I was so ecstatic that you wanted me back, so we went back to loving one another.
You made me feel ten times happier that day...
We made plans for Saturday again and it was another one of our 'midnight rides'.
One thing I won't forget is your outfit: blue sports zip up long sleeve, athletic short shorts, a waterfall braid, and those checkered vans we both have.

When you brought my burger, it was filled with onions; you hate onions.
We watched that Netflix show about that girl who gets stalked on Facebook; I never paid attention to the movie.
Our lips didn't touch a lot in the beginning but I did everything I could so you'd kiss me.
Flushing my mouth out with alcohol tastes disgusting to me, but for some weird reason you enjoyed it.
We tired to fall asleep together and I could tell you really wanted to sleep from the way you looked while sleeping.
Your head lay softly and peacefully on my chest as if it were a pillow.
Running my fingers through your hair felt like I was in the heavens.

Remember how you opened up to me about your family that night?
It's like I entered your heart for the very first time.
Remember that night the way I did?
That night would be the last time we ever ended on a good note, the last time at the Pool House, and the last time you ever really loved me.
