Thirteen Reasons Why was a show we both loved, but there was one place in town where our adventures really began.
Johnny Rockets: the fries, milkshakes, and laughs is where I'll start.
Every outfit you wore while we talked in the booths captivated my eyes.
Whenever we sat across from each other, I could swear that your eyes wouldn't meet mine for a second. You were so nervous and anxious which is understandable. We never really got to see one another on a daily basis so when we did see one another, you made it seem like we were complete strangers. I would try to make you feel calm and relaxed. When I was with you, I would never be on my phone. You had all my attention, you had all my time, which is why I never ever got bored talking to you.

Every time we went to Monet's, the waiter would have to come back at least three times since we couldn't make up our minds (really we talked and talked and never ordered). We called Johnny Rockets, "Monet's"because of its significance to us. It was our place to see one another, it was where we would go to just spend time with one another and talk. Talking with someone you love is one of the best things you can do in a relationship. You can learn so much about someone from just talking to them. In our case, me and this girl would talk about everything and anything. From baseball and gossip, to our interests and hobbies. She loved baseball, more specifically the Houston Astros.
The way you spoke about your day, or really about anything, is one of the many reasons I loved you. You were so passionate when you spoke about anything. The way you made your eyebrows flash up in happiness and that smile of yours spread out across your face when you spoke, made me fall in love with you all over again.
When you spoke, it was like music to my ears; your voice was so different.
I remember writing our promises on that post it note, just like Derek and Meredith from Greys.
Your cute little mind couldn't think of any promises, so I wrote the majority of them.
Those promises were like vows; one thing about promises is that your're not supposed to break them.
Monet's meant so much to you.
I could feel it every time we brought it up.
The fries there reminded me of how your love for food was unconditional, almost like the love I had for you.

Remember that time you ran past my dad in the parking lot?
You were so nervous and it just made me smile to think that maybe one day you would meet my parents.
Remember when we met there after I came back from Tennessee?
You don't know how happy I was when I saw you..
