This Is Me

Moving in

We get to Natsu's place and put everything into a spare room he had. Natsu lives alone, his dad is overseas and he didn't want to go with his dad by the way. By the time I've unpacked just one box my father has called me about six times.
   "Turn off your phone for the night."
   "Okay..." I was quiet because I was scared and Natsu knew that, because he made me tea, wrapped me up in a blanket and actually cuddle me on the couch to calm me down.
   "I guess I understand why people ship us or think we are dating now.." I laughed.
   "Why?"
  "You're so dumb sometimes." I shook my head
  "I'm curious though." He looks at me blankly
  "Look at us! You're cuddling me!" I laughed
   "Oooh, well I just don't want you to be scared." As he says that he gets up and goes to the kitchen.
   "Whatcha doin?" I say from the couch
   "Making a PB&J.."
   "Oh.." I get up as well and start to head back to my new room.
   "Now where are you going?" He says in the kitchen stuffing a sandwich in his mouth.
   "Going to unpack some more, then probably fall asleep."
   "Oh okay."
I get to my new room and start unpacking more clothes. Packing is way more harder then unpacking. I'm thankful that I didn't have much stuff to begin with.
   I did as much as i could, and get into bed and fall asleep.

   The next morning I get up, get ready for school and eat a piece of toast. Natsu was on the couch eating a banana already.
   "How are you up so early?" I yawned while putting toast in my mouth.
   "No reason." He's acting the same way like he did yesterday in class where he was staring at me gloomily. I start walking towards the couch and plop down next to him.
   "Natsu..."
   "Luce." He looks up to me while eating a banana and I take a breath.
   "Why you acting this way?"
   "Like what?"
   "Yesterday you were staring at me like you were sad, and that's what your doing right now but at the black tv screen."
   "I am not!"
   I shake my head "don't deny it. We both know each other too well to be lying to one another."
   He sighs "fine, I'm just worried about you."
   "Why? I'm here aren't I?! I'm A-okay!"
   "I know.. I just-.... I don't know."
   "Don't worry, I'm okay now." I take his hand hug it.
   "Why you hugging my hand?"
   "Because I can!" He laughs and pushing me onto the couch.
   "Hey!"
   "Let's go weirdo!"
   "Aye sir!"
We go to school and get to class, we bumped into Erza on the way there. She was by herself doing something.
"Hey Erza! Whatcha doin?" Natsu asked.
"Oh hey guys, I was just trying to get into the wrestling team or the student government."
"Both fit you!" I mentioned.
"I know, so I'm trying my best to get into both. I got my papers for wrestling and student gov."
I sit down in my seat which is to the left of Erza. I look at her papers and she seemed to work hard on everything on them.
"We're both supporting you Erza, I know you could do both."
"Thank y-" Erza was cut off by the announcer which was saying "Lucy Heartfilia, please come down to the front office someone is waiting for you."
My heart stops for a moment and I stared at Natsu panicking. My eyes are most likely yelling 'oh please help me god'. I can see in natsu's eyes that he was scared too.
"Natsu can you come with me??"
"Yeah."
We walk to the office together and I'm panicking so much right now, I can't help but shake. Natsu notices me shaking and puts an arm around me like he always does. But I know this time it's for comfort.
We get there and I see my father standing in front of the principal office. I tell the front lady that I can't go in there, and she asked me why. She sees the look on my face and also Natsu who's giving her signals, trying to hide it from me. And she goes into the principal office to tell him something. He looks at me through the window and talks to her more. The front desk lady comes back.
"Okay, just go back to class dear. We'll call you in later but just by yourself."
"Thank you ma'am."
Both natsu and I go back to class and I still seemed to be shaken.
"How bout we just skip class today and get some bagels?" Natsu asked
"But we have class?"
"Yeaaah, why not play hooky for one class period?"
"Um okay.."

So Natsu decided we should have bagels, we leave out the back doors of the school and go to the nearest bagel shop. I get a muffin, even though it's a bagel shop. And Natsu got a breakfast bagel sandwich.
"Can I have a bite?" His mouth full with food.
"Uh no, why don't you finish what you have in your mouth and hands!?"
"Because sharing is caring!" He sticks his tongue out to me and I laugh.
"You're an idiot."
We finished our food, and I ended up letting the dumby having the last bite of my muffin. We leave the bagel shop and head for second period.

As the day goes by and lunch arrives all the friends I made have a designated eating spot. The tree. The lunchroom is just too crowed, not a lot of space and I figured the fresh air is relaxing.
Natsu, Erza, Levy, Mirajane, Gray, Juvia and I all have a lunch and we always have such a nice time chatting to one another. Mira always has the juiciest gossip. She always keeps tabs on the bad boys and this specific guy name Laxus who she grew up with.
"Mira I feel like you aren't as innocent as you portray!" I laughed
"What do you mean!? I'm a-"
"Demon.." Erza irrupted.
"Excuse me!"
"Mirajane, I think you forget I grew up with you too. You're the devil."
Mirajane pouted and continued eating her sandwich.
