Happy Now

Next morning after our move in, We get ready for school. Even though Natsu has a car, we both like to walk to school. It feels more relaxing and it also burns calories (gotta get that summer body ready). We meet Erza half way to school and she's concern for the both of us.

"You guys okay?"

"Yeah, we're okay Erza.." I replied

"Okay good. Listen.. before you guys got here I saw a black car drive by heading towards the school."

"Okay then we'll go behind the school to enter" Natsu proclaimed.

"Natsu.. I can't keep running away forever. I gotta face him.."

"What if he hurts you!!!?"

"You'll be right next to me, right?"
Natsu looks at me with his loving, and caring eyes. I just caressed his cheek and continued walking with my best friends.

When we arrive at the school, Erza was right. There was a sketchy, expensive looking black car. We start to walk past it, but I hear the window open. Following that was a deep husky, mad voice.

"Lucy Heartfilia!"

I turn around and there was my father.
"What?"

"Don't give me that tone!! You're coming home now!!"

"Actually I have school, I can't afford to miss any days sorry. Plus I don't live with you anymore."

"I'm your father, you should be listening and doing whatever I say."

"Really? You haven't been a father to me since mom died so."

"Do NOT bring your mother into this!"

"I have to!! It's the only thing that makes you listen, it's also facts Jude! And did you send Sting to get me to come home!! You know that relationship is just as disgusting as ours!"

Jude gets out of the car and stands in front of me, he raises his hand about to grab my shirt but Natsu interferes. He pulls me back just in the knick of time and stands in front of me.

"Who the hell are you?!"

"Surprised you haven't remembered my face Mr.Heartfilia." Natsu answered.

"Get out of the way, we're having a personal conversation."

"Actually no you're not, you're threatening her. That's not what fathers should do."
As Natsu and Jude argue, Erza went and got the teacher and principle. They heard and seen the whole conversations. As cops arrive, Jude raised his fist to Natsu. Behind Natsu was petrified little ol' me, I was holding on to him the entire time.

"Did you call the cops you bitch?!" Pointing at me.

"Me!? No, them." I pointed at the principle and teacher, and many other students including my friends who were watching us.

"Jude Heartfilia you're under arrest for domestic violence and fraud."

"Fraud?" I whispered to myself.. Natsu hugs me as we watch my disgusting father get into a police car.

"You'll pay for this Lucy.." Jude scowled.

"Actually no she won't, you'll pay for this." The principal chimed in. I look towards that direction and saw my teacher and principal, they both winked at me. All my worries went down the drain, I feel like tons and tons of weight have been lifted off my shoulders. I noticed the blonde headed sting come over to Natsu and I. 

"Hey Lucy.."

"What do you want Sting?"

"I want to apologize for harassing you.."

"That's okay, did my father tell you to bring me home?"

"Yeah.."

"Okay, I forgive you."

"You forgive him why!?" Natsu shouted.

"Natsu, it wasn't his fault if he was threatened and bribed."

"Ohh.." I held Natsu's hand

"Hey Lucy?" Sting called

"Yeah?"

"I won't be coming here anymore, I'm going back to my other school Sabertooth High. So you don't have worry about me anymore.."

"I know, thank you Sting." I give him a smile, and he finally smiles back at me. I knew from the beginning Sting wasn't a bad guy, he's got more genuine as he grew older and drifted away from me. It's just at this time he was told to be mean. I look back and I have sympathy for him. He didn't ask for that.
I see Sting off, Natsu, Erza, and I have finally a normal school day. Me and Natsu catch up on work, and of course I help him with his as well.
During lunch, we eat with our friends and catch up on everything we missed on. The gossip is totally juicy, Mirajane finally talked to Laxus about her feelings and he felt the same way. Juvia and Gray got together after a long while of Juvia holding on tight to him!! Erza has been talking to her crush Jallel and are becoming more comfortable with each other. And finally but not least Levy and Gajeel are taking things slow and getting to know each other first.
I'm so happy for them. As for Natsu and I, we're happy. So happy.
We come home after school, we take off our shoes. Natsu suddenly picks me up bridal style and throws me on the bed.
"Natsu! What was that for!?" I laughed.

He plops on top of me and lays there.
"Natsu you're squishing me!!" I squirm

"Just give me a minute."
He looks up and his face is right there. In front of mine.
"You're so beautiful." He complimented

"And you're handsome....Why you being like this!?" I brushed a hair out of his face.

"Because I'm just really happy right now."

"Me too."
We cuddled there for an hour, just holding each other. The last couple days and weeks have been so chaotic we didn't really even have time to be just a couple and enjoy our relationship. It was all worry, worry, worry. After that we decided to go to the park. It was kind of windy, but we didn't mind.
We walk there holding hands, and we get to this beautiful tree, and we part. Natsu goes and leans next to the tree while I look at pink flowers that were flying everywhere.
"Wow natsu!! Look it's beautiful!!" I spin around like some kid playing in the rain, I look at the flowers beside my foot, and then look towards him.

"I know.."
he looks at me with loving eyes, unlike before. He walks towards me, I run to him. He picks me up and spins me around. Then gently places me on top of the ground again. He grabs my face, leans in and kisses me gently like the flowers flying in the air around us. I craved more, I went in deeper and deeper. His tongue asked for access, and I let it in. Our mouths danced until we gasped for air.
"I love you so much."

"I love you too Natsu."
We had a beautiful picnic, I made some little sandwiches. Natsu made little deserts, which was tiny cupcakes. They were confetti flavored, he thought they were fun because it remind him of a party or something like that.
We went home that night so close, and so happy. We lay in bed together holding on to each other for dear life.
But as I was falling asleep, I remember all the things that just happened to now. How Natsu and I became more close, and now I can have a normal loving relationship.
I really can't imagine my life without him, he's literally the perfect guy. He takes care of me, supports me, let's me be who I am, let's me do things I wanna do without him worrying. He made me realize that I don't need to listen to people, I should be who I am and do what I love. And I love him. He made me open up more. I look at his sleeping face, pondering my thoughts. And I made a promise to myself.
From today on I'll be who I want to be.
