The Ex

I can't believe he's here, in my class, at this school, right now.

"Why don't you have a seat right in front of Lucy, Sting." The teacher insisted.

"Hey Star eyes, I've missed you." Sting winks at me while he was backwards in his chair, then he refocuses on the teacher. I look over at Natsu and he's pissed, he's looking at Sting in disgust and anger. Then I look at Erza who is also watching Natsu.

When class ends and it's time for lunch, I try my hardest to pack up as fast as I can to leave so I wouldn't talk to Sting. But I couldn't beat him.

"Hey Lucy.."

"What do you want Sting?"

"I want you, did you not get my text?"

"Well I don't want you. I'm done with you. Now let me pass."

"I've always loved when you demanded stuff, give me a second chance babe."

"No, and don't call me babe."

"I promise you won't regret."

I hear footsteps behind me, and I suddenly feel a hand pushing me backwards.

"She said let her past." It was Natsu, I can see the anger boiling inside him. Then I suddenly hid behind him.

This ain't going to be pretty.

"Who the hell are you pinky?" Sting fired back.

"Why does it matter?" Natsu spats back

"I wouldn't call my boyfriend 'pinky'" I mentioned. Natsu looks at me from behind him and he gives me a smirk.

"This is your boyfriend? Pathetic. I'm so much better."

"No you're not, you're the pathetic one Sting. Natsu is the best boyfriend I could ever ask for. Now I recommend moving before you get hurt." I raised my voice.

"Fine, but I'll win you over again. I always do." Sting moves out of our way and Natsu glares at him while holding my waist from behind. We exit the classroom to go to our spot by the tree for lunch. On our walk there Natsu and I talked.

"Who was that Lucy?"

"That was my ex..."

"Why is he here, and what does he want with you?"

"He's wants to get back to together. He texted me this morning then all of a sudden he's in our school!"

"Well I ain't going to let him take you away from me.." Natsu pouted.

"Haha I'm not going to be swooned over him. That relationship was awful and forced sooo."

"What happened between you guys?"

"Well my father put us together for some reason. I don't know. But I kind of grew up with him, and when we dated it wasn't romantic at all. We didn't even act like a couple. He always pushed me around and made me do things for him."

"And what did he mean by he always won you over?"

"Oh.. there was this other boy I liked. I didn't even like Sting to begin with. But there was this boy in my school who I liked a lot and he liked me. Sting always guilt tripped me that I was cheating on him and that he was my best friend and crap. So I always ran back to him because I didn't like feeling guilty."

"Oh.." Natsu grabbed my hand, he felt sympathy for me.
We get to where everyone is at the tree, everybody greeted us and asked how we were doing.
"Hey Lu-Chan!!"

"Hey Levy! How are ya?"

"I'm good, have you seen the new kid?!"

"I know all too well of him..." I sit back in Natsu's lap in a chill position. Everybody looked at me in confusion except Erza because I told her everything that has happened. Erza was my best friend of course.

"What do you mean?" Mirajane asked.

"He was her ex-boyfriend" Natsu answered for me.

"Whaaaat?" Gray was shocked. Juvia was by his side with her jaw dropped.

"Is that hard to believe that I've had a boyfriend before?" I said

"Uhh yeah, you're like an angel, you're too innocent." Gray responded.

"I'm not that innocent..." I whispered. Natsu put his arms over my shoulders like he was hugging me from behind. I noticed everyone staring at him and I.
"Why you guys keep staring at us?!" I shouted

"Uh because you're usually not this comfortable with doing stuff like that with him, in front of us." Levy stammered.

"Yeaaaah, so you guys together now or what??" Mirajane questioned

"Um..." I look up at him to find an answer, Natsu smiled. I smiled back at him so I respond with "maybe."
All the girls squealed, except Erza. Gray high-fived Natsu.
"Hey Mirajane, you gonna confess to Laxus that you like him?" Natsu asked

"Maybe! Why did he say something?" Mirajane nervously said

"No, just curious." He responded

"Hey Levy, didn't you say the other day that you liked Gajeel?" Juvia questioned.

"The lonesome wolf guy?!" I was shocked

"Uhhhh" levy's face was all red and she was embarrassed. "Yeah I did.."

"Well he's walking up to us." Juvia pointed him out. Everyone including Natsu and I, left Levy by herself. Everyone left to their respected classroom. But Natsu and I went to the football stadium.

When we reach the stadium, Natsu went and front of me and held my shoulders.
"What's the matter?!" I worried

"Are we really together?!"

"Uh maybe..." I blushed. He grabs my face and shoved his lips into mine. At first I tried to pull away, but then the kiss was more relaxing and I gave in. It was sweet and pure. His soft lips melted me.
He pulls away and smiles big.
"Not at school!" I playfully hit his shoulder.

"Why not?! You are my girlfriend!" He laughs.

"Your maybe girlfriend!" I pointed out.

"Mm no. My girlfriend." He shook his head like this was a decision. I laughed and hugged him.

"Okay!"

"Really?!"

"Are you going to ask me?" I look up at him and he's looking at me.

"Lucy Heartfilia? Will you be my girl-" someone interrupted him by banging the gate to the stadium.

"Well, well, well... look who we have here.."

"What do you want Sting?!" I shouted.

"I've told you before.. I want you. But you won't listen to me."

"Our relationship was awful. Why would you want that again?!"

"Because I've changed, annnd I wanna treat you right. I've missed you." His smile looked so evil, like he was planning something.

"Yeah right, you can't take her. She's mine." Natsu interrupted.

"Fine what if we played a game, winner gets to keep her."

"She's not an object you freak!" I could tell Natsu was already infuriated. I take his arm and hug it tightly like I wasn't going to let go.
Natsu picks me up bridal style and heads back to the school leaving Sting all alone. I look back at the evil blonde headed guy and watch him roll his eyes.
