CHAPTER 1.3

"SID, I'm tired. You gotta give me some time to rest, man."
Hindi pinansin ng manager ni Hades ang reklamo niya. Umuusok pa rin sa galit ang ilong nito. Tapos na ang concert niya sa Manhattan. Nasa hotel na sana siya ngayon para magpahinga pero hindi pa rin siya tinigilan nito.
"Rest? Goddamn, Hades! I caught you almost fucking another member of your crew. What if it went out? Paparazzis are everywhere, dumbass," gigil na bira nito sa kanya.
Paikot-ikot sa harap niya ang 40-year-old New Yorker niyang kaibigan at manager habang prente siyang nakahiga sa kama. Sanay na siya rito. He would not let the man affect his good mood after his concert. Sa limang taon nitong pagiging manager niya, subok niya na ito. Maingay lang ang lalaki pero maaasahan sa lahat.
"It will not, Sid. Did you see any article about me banging your girls? Chill out," pagpapakalma niya.
Sid put his hands in the sky. "Because I'm always there to cover your mess, asshole! How I wish you were not here in the US before you decided to fuck and fuck and fuck every woman around you."
Kumislap ang isang ideya sa isip niya. He still have two months before his Asian tour begins.
Gaano katagal na nga ba magmula nu'ng huli siyang nag-stay sa Pilipinas? Ah, hindi niya na alam.
"Fix my schedule. I'll only accept interviews, shoots and guestings until this weekend." Dinampot niya ang phone sa tabi niya.
He checked out his iPhone X Max and messaged several people.
"What are you up to?" nagtatakang tanong ni Sid. Halatang naguguluhan sa mga gusto niya.
Nagkibit-balikat siya. "Well, I want to go to the Philippines next week. I'll stay there for a month. I'll give you a month to relax and wipe those white hair out of your head."
Hindi ito kumibo. Halatang hindi kumbinsido sa mga lumalabas sa bibig niya. Humalukipkip pa ito sa bandang paanan niya na para bang inoobserbahan ang bawat kilos niya. Hindi niya tuloy maiwasang matawa.
"Relax, man. I'll stay in my private resort in Palawan. I will never do anything that could fuck up my career," he said with great assurance. "Besides, I want to have some rest now. I'm tired of travels and concerts and all the bullshits I need to do for the sake of this career."
"How can I assure that you're not going to get drunk and bang Filipina women and be on the headlines the day after? It's been just two years since your last scandal." He was now fishing for some solid answers.
Ang tinutukoy ng lalaking last scandal ay ang leaked photos niya sa Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Nagbakasyon siya roon at natyempuhan ng mga paparazzi na nakahubad-baro. He had a poor body back then. Excess fats here and there. No abs. No strong biceps. Everyone mocked his body for not being extra macho and fit. Pero hindi naman iyon kasing grabe ng sex scandal na kinasangkutan niya sa Las Vegas four years ago. He got drunk and made out with several ladies. He then fuck a gorgeous Latina beauty queen. Lahat ng pictures niya, kumalat sa buong mundo.
Kaya naman sa tuwing may nakakasagupa siya sa kama ay to the rescue na ang manager niyang si Sid. Mabilis nitong sinisiguradong hindi magkakalat ang mga babaeng nakaka-sex niya.
"Well..." Napaisip siya. He couldn't live for a month without sex. Hindi niya maipapangako rito na hindi siya gagalaw ng sinumang babae. He loves sex, for Pete's fucking sake!
"Well?" ulit ni Sid.
"Find a woman who would be my sex partner for a month. Pay her the necessary amount and make sure to give her a contract to follow."
Alam niya ang ganoong kalakaran sa Pilipinas. At mas mabuti nang "umupa" na lang siya ng babae dahil baka nga masangkot na naman ang pangalan niya sa kung anu-anong eskandalo. He's not yet ready to give up his career.
Iligal iyon sa Pilipinas, pero ano ba naman ang bunging batas ng bansang iyon sa perang mayroon siya?
Gusto niya na rin munang tumakas sa magulong mundo sa Hollywood. Besides, he'll surely be good to that woman. Baka nga ito pa ang lumuhod sa harap niya para lang maikama bawat gabi.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ng banyaga. "Seriously?! You're going to be in an island with a woman and you'll be fucking her for a month?"
"Sounds great, right?" He chuckled. "And please find me the finest sex goddess they could offer. I want my vacation to be memorable."
