(Scenario B)

It was time for Marinette to get ready for classes, but truth be told, she never fell asleep. All due to that pesky cat. Her newly discovered feelings for him gave no help to her sleep deprivation. She'd only realized how much Chat Noir resembles Adrien's past self. Though, with this being her senior year and finals running at her like some race car going hundreds of miles per hour, she had no time to Lolli-gag. Surprisingly, Adrien's academic knowledge and grades still surpassed hers even with his strange behavior displayed over the past couple of years. And though she was one of the most well rounded and achieving students in her class, the fact that a player like him could out-do her was incomprehensible. Still impressive though. Maybe his father was still putting pressure on him. Maybe he doesn't know of Adrien's love affairs at all. Either way, she still felt the need to strengthen her skills. Especially in science. Since Chat's late-night visit, sleeping didn't seem like an option but she was relieved he had done her science homework for her. Otherwise, she most likely would have tried to cram it somewhere into her morning before she made the class. She got dressed in her normal pink jeans and atop wore a black knit sweater she made especially for this time of year. Fall didn't bother her and she always enjoyed the rain. It gave her a reason to use her black umbrella which she never returned. He didn't seem to mind. Her feet slid into her flats and she grabbed her shoulder bag. Her hair was left loose and she trotted downstairs for some sort of semi-breakfast that she could put together before rushing out. It was chilly out. Not too windy, but chilly. The brisk air made her nose turn red a bit and she awaited the warm feeling that walking into the heated classrooms would give her. Like walking into the bakery. Her parents didn't open shop till eight-thirty and she envied the fact that they could sleep in a little longer.
As she walked up to the school she met with Alya in their usual spot. They stood by the only tree that sat near the grand steps leading to the doors of the school. Once Nino and Adrien walked by the girls followed in next to them. Marinette didn't necessarily want to be near Adrien and whoever he was "with" that day but Alya and Nino are still a couple and neither she nor Adrien was very fond of having to hang out. Granted just because Adrien changed it didn't mean they stopped being friends completely. Marinette just stayed away from him more.
Today he had his arm around a brunette's shoulder. She wasn't the best he could do if Mari was being honest but it probably didn't matter much to him. Surely the girl had a "great personality".

Five minutes till the first class. He glanced at Marinette staring into her sapphires. The interaction was weird and unexpected. Usually, Adrien ignored her altogether because he was making out with someone. But today he didn't seem as focused on the girl who was practically on her knees for him. Granted by lunch she'd be history and he would most likely be talking to another girl. History. SHIT! Marinette completely forgot about studying for her history test! Damn Chat and his cute smirk. Damn Adrien and his intrusive affairs. Adrien probably had every answer to the test engraved in his brain like some sort of highly intelligent robot google machine. Maybe she could ask for his notes during lunch so she had some chance of—
"Hey." She jumped out of her mental argument. Adrien? Adrien was talking to her? If this was another game he was trying to play to get with her then—
