Marinette sat in her bed staring up through her open balcony hatch. It had been two weeks and even though both of them knew it, neither Adrien nor Marinette had admitted they had even the slightest feelings for each other. She didn't really care though. Marinette found her relationship with Chat more genuine. He was playful yet respectful. Dirty yet charming. It only drew her to him more.

Adrien, of course, knew this. But he needed to get closer to her as a civilian. He couldn't go any further as Chat. Relationships couldn't be built off of secrets. He knew that much. He sat up in his bed. It was close to nine. The usual set hour he stopped by. Truth be told no matter how bad he wanted to kiss her, he couldn't do it as Chat. Not again. He needed her to love Adrien too. He knew she did but he needed her to tell him. Then the bet would be over. He would have won and...

Well, he didn't want to get ahead of himself. First things first he needed her to say it to ADRIEN.

As nine o'clock came by he had already been on his way. Marinette's hatch was closed but he could see through her window. She was changing into her pajamas. He really needed to stop finding her in compromising situations like this or an "incident" might happen. He shook his head to avoid gazing and quickly looked away from the window. Maybe he'd start arriving later again to avoid this.

He waited for a sec and knocked on her hatch door. Her footsteps were heard along each step as she climbed up to the hatch.

"Hey, Chat. Just on time." She said sweetly letting him in. He smiled gently and sat on the bed.

"Yeah right," He thought to himself but made conversation. "What are you up to princess?" She looked at him in vexation. He knew she got annoyed when he called her that. He liked that it annoyed her. It was kind of funny seeing her blush all while glaring at him.

Their relationship with each other was anything but normal of course. It wasn't a "relationship" relationship. It was more of a strong friendship perhaps. Just friends who liked each other but never really defined a relationship with each other. Marinette seemed calm about it all. Even after they kissed that one night.
