(Scenario A)
———————————————————8:30 am

Marinette tapped her pencil rhythmically against her desk as the clock made a subtle clicking noise. The repetitiveness of the ticking pattern slowly drove her mad. She wanted to escape this dreaded history class. Only five more minutes and she would be off to Art. Sadly, art was followed by science which Marinette had no intent in attending. Though being Ladybug meant that she had some sense of freedom to distract her from the struggles of class, she also took on an even bigger responsibility of saving Paris. It was often all she could think of to keep her mind busy. That and her partner. She wondered what he was doing now as if she were a young school girl giggling over a boy. Was she really this annoying when she had a crush on Adrien?
Time passed and it was the end of science. Next lunch.
"So girl, are we going to the party this year?"
Marinette looked up from her notes.
"Party? What party?"
"Adrien's Halloween party. The only party he throws literally every year when his dad goes on his trip to New York." Alya deadpanned.
Marinette suddenly became uncomfortable. Shifting in her seat as the bell rang she grabbed her things.
"I-I don't know. You can go if you want, but I-I'll have to...I have to help my parents."
"You don't even know what day the party is Marinette. Now I'm sure your parents can make an exception. And if not we just won't tell them we're going. But we are going. No excuses."
She sighed and stared her friend dead in the eyes. "Alya. I'm not going."
"What's the big deal? You've gone last year. You went the year before that."
"I'm not going."
"Why won't you—"
"ALYA! NO!"
People were staring now. She lowered her voice.
"I-I said no Alya," she whispered, "I don't want to go."
"I just want to know why...why you hate Adrien so much. You use to...what did he do?"
Marinette's mind went back to it. The moment she realized he had truly changed.11:45 pm
(Flashback)
——
"Ready girl?"
"Mhm." She said cheerfully. She fixed her cat ears and grabbed her bag. Chat would definitely make fun of her for this costume later. The black stockings shaped around her slim legs perfectly and the black skater skirt she wore barely went over her bellybutton. She wore a black long sleeve crop top that was only an inch away from touching the skirt. Her black ankle boots blended nicely with everything and her cat makeup completed the costume. It wasn't exposing at all, unlike Alya's. Her costume showed her legs no thanks to the short orange skirt she wore. Her tail and perky ears still couldn't distract from her exposed mid-drift. The crop top was cute with a white area like a fox stomach.
They made it to the party. Nino, Adrien, and the blaring music had all been there to greet them. The boys both taking in the images of the girls.
"H-hey girls." Nino managed to say.
"Hey, so you're a ninja turtle?"
"Yeah! I'm Mikey." He said with a dorky smile. As Alya and Nino made convo, Adrien and Marinette stood awkwardly.
"S-so...your like...dressed as Chat Noir?"
"Y-yeah. And your...ladybug heh." She let an awkward laugh escape. He nodded and tried to keep his eyes away from her. It didn't work.
"So how have you been?" She tried yelling.
"Why don't we go somewhere a little quieter Marinette?" She nods barely reading his lips.

He had led her up to his room, the blaring music slowly fading as they walked the white steps.
"It is quieter in here. Nice! A foosball table! Is that a rock-climbing wall?! And you have a skate—mph!"
He pressed his lips on hers in an urgent need to shut her up but also to relish in his desire. She on the other hand was caught off guard, being pushed against the wall in his eager game. She was being kissed by Adrien. Adrien, her crush, was kissing her. Unbelievable.
He wasn't a very gentle kisser like she thought he'd be. Progressively the kisses deepened and they felt hot to the touch. She was surprised but didn't stop him until his hand rode up her skirt. Too high. He grunted and she pushed his shoulders away.
"What the fuck are you doing?"
"I thought you wanted this Marinette. Why else would you come up here with me?" He said in a husky voice. She became uncomfortable. Why was he acting this way? This isn't him.
"Why else? Because maybe I believed you weren't what everyone said you were. I guess I set myself up. You just think of girls as toys."
"Just the ones who beg for it." He smirked deviously. The kind of look that was capable of sending chills down her spine. That it did.
"Your just a sad hormonal little boy. Everyone was right not to trust you, Adrien. I thought I could change yo—I thought you could change...but..." She bolted out of the room nearly in tears. It seemed he wasn't fixable. Untamable. He had expressed only ill-minded things to those he felt he could control for his own pleasure. Using them. Feeding off them for his own demands and mental state. It was like a drug. He was addicted to the feeling of giving the pain to someone else. It distracted him from what went on in his house. She wouldn't stand for it. It was going to stop.

Marinette had gone home now, in bed she sighed and explained to Tikki why she hadn't stayed longer. Calm. Chat knocked on her window hatch. She quietly pulled open the latch and let him crawl in.
"Hello princess."
"Chat Noir?"
"It's been a while. How has your night been?"
"Today didn't go as I planned."
He frowned remembering her previous reactions.
"Life can do that...what happened?"
"I was just...disappointed by someone today."
"Talk to me. I'm all ears."8:45 am
(Present Day)
——
"Hello? Earth to Marinette." Alya waved a hand in front of her face.
"You never answered my question Marinette. Why do you hate him?"
"He's just so different now Alya. Everything is. Look...Let's go to lunch. I'll talk to you later."
"You better because you are going to the party!" Marinette rolled her eyes and sprinted down the hall with Alya. Lunch with Adrien. He was standing next to Nino with some girl on him making conversation about the party. She seemed super flirty but he wasn't that into it. W-why did Marinette even care what he was into anyways.
"Hey Alya, Marinette. Going to the party?" Nino asked so no one else had to.
"Not planning on it, but I'm pretty sure Alya is going to force me there so I might as well say yes." Nino glanced at Adrien. "Great then. The more the merrier."
Adrien glanced back at him...
