Chapter 19: Prince or Princess

It had been a few months since Cora and the majority of her tribe joined our community and things have been relatively smooth. I was now halfway through my pregnancy and winter had about a month or two left. We had our next appointment to see the twins in an hour and find out what they are. They have been uncooperative the past two ultrasounds so we haven't been able to find out yet. I am showing quiet a bit now and I can say I can no longer see my toes.

I huffed as I threw another outfit on the bed and Fin came out of the bathroom looking at me with question. "Everything alright?"

I huffed again as I threw another outfit onto the bed. "No! Nothing fits me anymore! I don't have a single thing that fits me without making me look like a bloated whale." I stood there in my bra and underwear feeling defeated.

Fin just smiled and wrapped his arms around me. "You are the most beautiful women in the world. You could wear a potato sack and still look like a million dollars. You look even more beautiful with our two perfect angels growing inside you." He said kissing the top of my head while putting a hand on my baby bump.

"At least a potato sack would fit." I sighed and looked up to meet his gaze. "But these two are hungry for pickles and ice cream so can we stop and get some before the appointment," I asked with the biggest puppy eyes I could muster.

He let out a deep belly laugh before he placed a soft kiss on my lips. "If you hurry and get ready we can definitely stop and fill your strange cravings." 

I yelped as he smacked my ass and I hurried to throw on a pair of sweatpants and a shirt with one of Fin's hoodies. I skipped all the way to the diner and inhaled my food before we made our way to the doctors. Monkey and Anna were walking out from their appointment as we were walking in. They just found out they were expecting their first pup only a few weeks ago and it was her first appointment.

"Well let me see the little fur ball." I joked as we exchanged hugs.

Anna was beaming as she pulled the ultrasound picture from her purse. "He said it's a very healthy little pup and he's gonna be due October 22nd!"

Werewolves were lucky they had a normal 9 month pregnancy but they could only get pregnant on a full moon. So I guess it evens out but I was excited to have a pregnant friend and have our kids be born only a few months apart. "Aww it's so precious are you guys hoping for a boy or a girl?" I asked.

"Well Monkey here wants a boy of course and I want a girl. You guys find out what your having yet?"

"Not yet hopefully today they will cooperate. Fin wants two girls but I'm hoping for two boys. Girls are way to much work I don't think I could deal with two mini me's."

"Aww but I could have two gorgeous baby girls who look just like their mother." Fin cooed to which I just rolled my eyes.

"Yea and two girls means twice the boys!" Monkey said wiggling his eyebrows.

Fin's face went a little pale before he hissed. "No boys ever! They can find their mates when they are 300! Not a day sooner."

We all laughed before saying our goodbyes and heading in for our appointment. As we were waiting for the doctor to finish his measurements of the twins we began getting anxious. "Alright are you two ready to know what you are having?" Dr. Harper asked with a smile on his face.

"Well actually I want to surprise Laura here so if you could write it down for me that would be great." Fin spoke with a playful grin.

"What?! But I want to know now. What are you planning Fin Joseph Tanner?!" I pouted

"You will have to wait and see Mia Bella. Trust me you are going to love it." He whispered before placing a sweet longing kiss on my lips.

"Fine! But you better make it quick because I am very impatient." I said while crossing my arms and pouting.
