"I'm a fucking idiot."

After finally letting out tears, I leaned my head back onto the door. My eyes hurt, dried from tears. I sat in my quiet house, looking at the time. I had been sitting on my floor, crying for an hour. I wiped my eyes, sighing. "Fuck.." I whispered, lifting up my head. My eyes were stinging, and I could feel them swollen up from the crying that happened. I slowly started to stand myself up, putting my hands on the wall and bending my legs. I got myself back onto my feet, and look around my dark house.

I walked my way to my room, making sure I didn't hit any walls. The second I did, I didn't care about changing. I just fell down onto my bed, and soon, I was asleep.

(Hanks POV)

After (Y/N) ran out of the office, I turned to Connor, who looked upset. "She.. she has feelings for me..?" He stuttered, and I nodded. "Yea, yea she does." My head hurt from this, and the marker on my face was still there. "I'm gonna go home, you plan on staying here all night?" I asked Connor, grabbing my jacket off the chair. "Could I possibly stay with you for tonight, Lieutenant?" I nodded, putting my jacket on. "Yea, sure." I said, and we walked out. As we headed to the car, I heard thunder crack in the sky. "Somehow the weather matches how bad this situation is," I muttered under my breath, and we got into my car after that. Then we drove off to my house.

(Y/N) POV)

I gasped as I sat up in my bed, the stupid nightmare I had waking me up. I groaned, rubbing my face as I calmed myself down. "Jesus fuck," I whispered, looking in the darkness of my room. As I calmed myself down, I heard a crash come from my living room. I looked at my door, slowly standing myself up. "Hello?" I call out, walking to my door. I opened it and looked around, flicking on a light switch as I started to walk out of the room. "Connor? Hank?" I asked, looking around at my living room.

Something from my tv stand had fallen down. I sighed, walking over and picking it up. I stood up, and as I was about to walk my way back to my room, some pair of arms wrapped around me. I almost screamed, wrestling a bit with the pair of arms. I threw my head back, and hit the person behind me. It let go of me, and I turned around to see who it was. "Rand?" I asked as I saw the face, and he grinned. "Hello (Y/N), great to see you again," he greeted, blood dripping out of his nose. I threw a punch to him, and he caught my fist and pushed me back. I hit the wall behind me and he came up to me with a tight fist. Before I could react because I was winded, I got punched in the face. My head slammed back to the wall, and I groaned as it started to throb when I looked back at him.

He went to throw another punch at me but I caught it this time, and tried to push him back. As I did, he grabbed me, and I went down to the floor with him. I tried to get away by scooting on the floor, but he grabbed my ankle and pulled my towards him again. He was on top of me, and I tried to push him off of me. He fought to stay on, and I kneed him in the stomach. It winded him and I managed to push him off of me. I started to crawl away myself, and I pulled out my phone, quickly trying to dial Hank's number. I pressed the call button, and my ankle was grabbed again. I kicked him off again, hearing the phone dial. "Hello?" I heard Hank's voice greet on the other line. "Hank! Hank, I need- AH!" I screamed, being dragged from my phone by the ankle once again. "(Y/N)? (Y/N) are you okay?" Hank asked over the other line as I fought off Rand. I threw another punch at him, and kicked my leg as I tried to get him to let go.

I was able to free my leg, and I started to stand myself up. I ran to my phone, hearing hank screaming from the other line. As I ran, Rand grabbed my shoulders and threw my back up to the wall. I grunted as I slammed against it, and he punched me. I felt more blood drip from my nose, and my lip split. The metallic taste filled my house and I tried to keep fighting him. I pushed him off me, and threw something as him. He dodged it, and I threw something else to him. I kneed him again in the stomach, causing him to double over. I grabbed my phone, hearing hank on the other end. "Hank, get here now!" I yelled, and immediately hung up before anything else. When Rand wasn't looking, I put my phone away into my pocket. Rand was able to stand up again, and I got ready to have to fight him off again. He ran to me, and I brought up my fist. As he got to me, I threw a punch and I heard a crack. He took a step back, his hand going to his nose. "You fucking bitch! You broke my nose!" He yelled. "That's what you get for trying to fight me," I said, grinning a bit. He laughed, looking at me. "I didn't want to have it come to this (Y/N)," he said, and I stopped grinning.

As I was about to try and move away, he punched me. Again, and again. As the taste of metal filled my mouth once again, he balled up his fist again. The last thing I remember before blacking our was his fist, about to collide with my face.

A/N: I had so much anxiety while writing this chapter. Holy bajesus. Well. This was a good cliff hanger to leave on, oops! Idk what else to say, but, uh, have fun! See you guys!
