I tapped my fingers on the counter at Hank's house, waiting for Gavin to come in. "Why are we letting Gavin here?" Hank asked, placing down my hot chocolate he made me. "I told you, (Y/BF/N) is coming into town, and Gavin and them used to be very close," I paused. "And me too," I finished. Hank shrugged, sitting down next to me at the table. "You missed (Y/BF/N) too, admit it," I said. Hank just rolled his eyes. "He/She's/They've been gone for a while, kinda forgot the energy they hold," Hank said. I laughed a small bit. "Where's Connor?" I asked, and Hank shrugged. "I think he's at Cyberlife, or the station. Said he felt odd," Hank said.

I looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "What the hell does that mean?" I asked, and again, Hank shrugged. "He wouldn't say. Just said he felt odd," Hank said, and I took a sip of my hot chocolate. Once I placed it down, (Y/BF/N) burst through the door, causing you to scream. Hank too. And very high pitch. "How are the two most trained lieutenants not prepared for someone to just kick down the door?" He/She/They asked, and I sighed, practically hitting my head on the table. "Great to see you too," I muttered, hearing Hank groan. "Doesn't mean you get to bust through my door. How did you even get in?" "It was unlocked," He/She/They said. Hank looked at me. "You think the crippled are able to easily get up and just open a door?" I asked and Hank rolled his eyes.

(Y/BF/N) wrapped their arms around Hank. "Admit it, ya missed me you old man," He/She/They said. He chuckled. "Of course I did," after he said that, a bark came from the hallway. (Y/BF/N) gasped. "Is that my favorite dog in the world!?" (Y/BF/N) asked, letting go of Hank and bending down to pet the dog who was coming into the room. "Hi sumo," (Y/BF/N) used a high pitched voice as they pet Sumo. I looked at the very annoyed Hank. "Like I said, didn't miss their energy," Hank said as they stood back up on their feet. "Well, you poor oldie, help the crippled up so I can get a hug," (Y/BF/N) said. I shook my head, starting to push myself up. "I'm not that crippled." "Oh please, you just called yourself, and Hank, crippled," they said, helping me stand up.

"Okay yea, but that's beside the point," I muttered, grunting a bit as I stood up straight. "Don't tackle me this time," I said, and their arms wrapped around me. But gently. "Of course not dummy, that'll hurt you," they said. I hugged them back, smiling a little as I felt some sorta comfort within these past few days. Maybe even weeks. "I've missed you (Y/BF/N)," I whipped to them. I could now tell they were grinning. "Look who finally admitted it," they cheered. I shook my head, letting go. "Well why wouldn't I?" I joked, making us laugh. "Alright, who wants to take me to the couch before bitch face Gavin arrives?" "Or even Connor," Hank interrupted. I glared at him.

"Connor's lost a few bolts in his head since I was in the hospital," I said, (Y/BF/N) helping me walk to the couch. "How? What happened when he went back into the room?" Hank asked. I stopped, the two of us looking back at him. "Connor didn't tell you?" I asked, and then Hank shook his head. "Should I be a little scared?" "No, not at all. But you've gotta hear what he did," (Y/BF/N) said. "What did the robo kid do now?" Hank asked. I looked at (Y/BF/N), shaking my head. "Let me set down the crippled, then I'll spill the tea," they said. "THAT PHRASE IS ABOUT AS OLD AS HANK IS!" I yelled, causing them both to laugh. "It's still fun to use, trust me," they said, and we proceeded to walk to the couch together.

About an hour later, we were eating food and binge watching (Y/F/S) (your favorite show). I had to lay on the couch, my legs over (Y/BF/N), while Hank claimed the floor. Then, there was a knock at the door. "It's open," Hank called out, and I looked at him with a glare before the door opened. And then walked in someone I didn't want to walk in. Connor. "Connor, how was Cyberlife?" Hank asked, trying to hope nothing weird could happen. "I never made it to Cyberlife, or even the station. I wandered the city a little more," he explained, his voice calm as (Y/BF/N) kept wiggling their eyebrows. I judged them with my leg a bit. "How are you holding up, (Y/N)?" Connor asked, the attention now turning to me. "Better. Still kinda hard to sit up. Or bend down," I said. "You still need to heal, give it some time." I nodded at that, rubbing my face. "I'm going to go off into my extra room, call me out here if you need anything," Connor said, and soon, he was gone.

I looked at the two who were grinning at me. "If I end up puking flowers, it'll be you both," I said as they laughed. "Trust me, something's up with Connor. Maybe he's deviating again" they suggested. "How about we focus on our food, and waiting for always late Gavin reed," I said. That made (Y/BF/N) grin. "Prank idea," they said. "Like the last time or worse?" I grinned. So did they. We just knew. "Good," we said in unison.

A/N): this took too long, but now I have a new phone. And I fell asleep. Now it's sleep time. (I fell asleep the middle of writing this...)
