"I'm going to kill your brother!" I yelled to Gavin, seeing him jump. "What do you mean? What did Elijah do?" Gavin asked, looking at me. "I think he gave Connor his memories back," I said, and Gavin looked at me. "There's no way, like you said, you pressed delete," Gavin said while I paced around the room. I tried to think of something, anything that could explain this. "Is there still such thing as clearing the recycling bin?" I asked, and he looked at me like I was insane. "I'll call Kamski," he said as he pulled out his phone.

I stood there, listening to their conversation. I could tell that Kamski was just trash talking Gavin. And Gavin was getting angry. Few more minutes later, the call had FINALLY ended. "Thank god, that took forever," I said, standing up. Gavin rolled his eyes at me. "Yea, because all he kept doing was insulting me," Gavin said, which made me roll my eyes this time. "How are you two even related? Same mom, same dad, adopted?" I asked, leaning on the wall. "Long story. We look alike, but have different last names," Gavin said. I nodded.

"So, did Kamski say anything about Connor memories?" I asked, which made Gavin look at me worriedly. "Connor is getting his memory back, but it's not due to Kamski. He thinks it's an outside source, but all he knows is, soon Connor will remember everything that happened between you two," he said.

I felt immediate anxiety, knowing that soon Connor will catch on to why I'm so sick. And why this time, it's progressing even faster. I sighed, rubbing my face. "What can I do?" I asked, looking at Gavin for some sort of help. "Nothing.." he said.

This isn't what I wanted to happen. No. No no no. Fuck! He's going to figure out it's him, and he's going to hate that I'm probably going to die. And his memories are coming in so slowly, he may not remember what happened until I'm dead. I sighed heavily, just looking at my feet. "Are you going to be okay (Y/N)?" Gavin asked as I felt his eyes turn to me. I nodded, looking back up.

"I'll be fine." That was a lie.

I walked back from the break room, to where Hank and Connor were. "Hey, Sorry (Y/N), we have to go on a investigation," Hank said. I groaned, sitting down on my chair. "Cmon, I have to be left alone?" I whined as swiveled my chair to them. Hank nodded, and I sighed. "Ughhhhh!" I whined more, and Hank laughed, so did Connor. It was strange. I hadn't heard his laugh in forever. I lifted my head up, and there they were. The petals. Sitting there. Ready to burst out.

I waved goodbye to them, and I got myself back up on my feet. I then ran to the bathroom, and threw up the flowers once again. And more blood. I stopped for a second, coughing a little more up, but then I puked once again. The flowers coming out more violently. I gripped the toilet edge tightly, feeling the petals and blood slowly stop, dripping out of my mouth. I took a deep breath, spitting as the blood came out. I hope that was the last bit. I looked, seeing the blood and the petals floating. I reached up, and flushed it.

I took some toilet paper and wiped my mouth, seeing how much was on my face. "Damn, looks like Bloody Mary," I muttered, cleaning the edge of my mouth more. I got myself up, and walked out to the mirror. I checked my face. No more blood. No petals. I was okay to go out to my desk again. But first, water.

When I got out to the desks, I walked to the break room and grabbed some water. I walked to my desk, and sat down. Then, chugged the bottle. It was replenishing. And better then just the suffering my throat had gone through. I decided to text my doctor, saying I needed a check up on my illness. I waited until he answered, going through the files that related to the most recent murders and stuff. And checking up on what I missed while sitting at home and binge watching tv. There was so many.

I was not ready for this fucking day.

About two hours later, Connor and Hank finally got back. They both sat down, looking frustrated. I looked up at them, confused. "Everything go okay?" I asked. Hank shook his head. "Nothing was there. It was just an empty house with some old thirium. No human," Hank said. "But this case was to find a human," I said, and Hank just shrugged. "Connor got hurt, and refused to let me see if it damaged any biocomponets," he said. I sighed, standing up. "Connor, get over here, now," I said, and he shook his head. "Now." I said more sternly, and he stood up, walking over. I found the plug on his back, plugging in a cord from my computer and sitting down. "Don't move," I said.

I typed my password, pulling up the scan of Connor body. I saw the hole in his body, zooming in to see if it got one of the biocomponets. "Whatever got you, it just missed biocomponet #3759, and hit biocomponet #2549," I said, seeing the damage on it. "I'm gonna have to repair that biocomponet," I said, turning and facing Connor. He sighed, nodding. "Hank, can you get Connor home? Since both our shifts end within a few minutes," I said, and Hank nodded. "Sure, but where are you gonna get a biocomponet at this time?" He asked. "Got some backup at home," I said. Hank looked at me like I was crazy. "What?" I asked.

I got back to my house, walking in and making sure I had the right biocomponet. I had Connor laid down on the floor, and I got my tools. "I'm gonna have to shut you down for a little, then work on the broken one. Should take about an hour or so," I said, and Connor nodded. I plugged another cord into him, and I typed on my laptop. I shut Connor down, only temporary, like a computer. I then typed a few more things, and he was deskinned. Then I saw the broken biocomponet sticking out. I moved my laptop, and scooted closer to him.

I pulled out the broken biocomponent, and I grabbed a few tools that may have to go with putting this back together. I put the biocomponet in, moving one of the wires and trying to attach it back to the new biocomponet. I sighed, seeing how some of the wires didn't try to fit in their needed spot. I groaned, trying once again.

An hour later, I finally got all wires in, seeing that the biocomponet was completely connected. I put it back in, and reskinned Connor. Then I went back to my computer, and turned him back on. "How did you learn to do this?" Hank asked, and I shrugged. "Learned myself," I said. Hank nodded, and I waited until Connor's LED turn back on to blue. I unplugged the cord from Connor, and turned off my computer. Suddenly, I then saw his LED go from blue to red. "Should that be happening?" I asked, Hank nothing his LED become red. "He's in his mind thing, Amanda," Hank said.

I looked to Connor, and tried to think of something. "Can we try to snap him out of it?" I asked, almost panicking. Hank shook his head. "We just wait," Hank's said. I groaned, sitting back. Now we just have to wait. I was so worried.
