Jason's POV
After Percy left the diner, Hazel and Frank stood up to leave, both a blushing mess.

I glanced at Piper and frowned.

She was on her phone texting someone, smiling as she turned it off.

I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous, because she was probably texting a guy or something.

She glanced at Silena and gave her a nod, and Silena smiled wide.

My frowned deepened, but I wasn't sure why.

She glanced at me and gave a small wave.

"You look- uh, happy." I said, trying my best not to sound bitter.

"Yup. I think you would be happy too."

My face contorted to a confused look. "What?"

She leaned in closer to me, making my heart skip a beat. "Percy went to go see Annabeth."

I sighed in relief and Piper looked at me questioningly.

"I-uh, I'm so relieved that Percy will finally get a-uh girlfriend?" Piper rolled her eyes, knowing I was lying but didn't ask.

Piper tugged on her braid and let her hair loose.

"Since it's Friday, wanna go to the beach?"

Leo, who overheard, yelled, "YeA! LeT's go to the bEaCh!"

We all decided to go to the beach, but not before getting all the pizza to-go.

Annabeth's POV
Once I got home, I went straight to my room, against my dads protest.

I sat by my desk, attempting to do my homework. But, I couldn't stop thinking about today.

I sighed before laying face first onto my bed contemplating my life.

As my eyes began to get heavy, I heard a faint buzz on my desk.

I lazily got up and checked my phone, to see Piper texting me.

Piper- Get ready:)

I stared at my phone, wondering what she was talking about.

I heard the doorbell ring, and heard the door click open.

I shrugged, thinking it was one of my brothers coming home.

I flopped down on bed, hoping to fall asleep, when I heard a faint knock on the door.

I groaned. "What do you want!"

I could feel the eyes rolling from behind the door.

"Uh, can we talk?"

My heart completely stopped. That voice was not one of my family members.

I cursed under my breath, knowing that I couldn't convince whoever was behind that door to leave.

I cracked the door open slightly. "Hi."

Percy pushed the door completely open and slammed the door closed.

"Uh, oops."

I turned so I wouldn't face him. "Uh, what are you doing here? I have to do a lot of homework so..."

He scoffed. "As if. You either did all your homework already or didn't do it at all. And since when do you care about homework?"

The corner of my mouth tugged slightly. "Haha. That's sooo funny."

Percy gasped. "W-were you being, dare I say it, sarcastic?"

I chuckled. "What do you want Percy?"

His face immediately turned serious. "To talk."

I sat on my bed, signaling him to sit with me.

"So."

I pursed my lips. "So."

He sighed. "Can we talk about what happened earlier today?"

I balled myself up. "Whats there to talk about Percy? I mean, we just had a serious conversation..?"

Percy poked me.

I glanced at him, confused.

He ushered me to stand up, which I cautiously did.

He grabbed my hand, and my heart started racing.

Then, he flipped it over, revealing the tattoo.

I panicked, and snatched my arm away.

I glanced at Percy, who was still in shock, and turned away so he wouldn't see me.

"Y-you can go now."

Percy shook his head and flopped down onto my bed.

This would have been funny, but considering the circumstances, I dreaded him staying for any longer.

"Please go."

Percy made a whiny grunty noise, which was muffled by my bed sheets.

"Fine. I'll leave."

Before I could turn around, Percy jumped up and grabbed me, forcing me to look at him.

He turned his forearm slightly, just enough for me to see, and a small gasp escaped my mouth.

It was beautiful, and I knew it represented me.

I stood there gaping, and Percy smiled at me before leaving.

My mind barely registered everything, and Percy had just left.

I frantically got my phone and went to Facetime.
