Chapter 23

Calypso's POV
After my mini fight with Leo, I ran out of the cafeteria and went to the secret garden area Katie had showed me.

I laid down on the bench and closed my eyes.

I laid there for 5 minutes before sighing and leaving into the hallways.

As I was walking I saw Leo come up to Percy.

"Hey do you know where Calypso is?"

Why would he want to know where I am?

Percy shrugged. "Probably somewhere in the school."

But I knew perfectly well that Percy knew I would've gone to the garden.

Leo groaned. "Well, I'm gonna check the-uh, I know! The garden area. Stupid Leo."

Leo went towards the garden and I walked out of my hiding spot.

"Hey Percy!"

He turned around and looked at me, then at the direction of the garden, and back at me.

He blinked. "Hello."

I walked next to him and hooked my arm around his. "How'd talking with Annabeth go?"

He blushed a little and told me that they just talked it out.

I raised a brow. "As much as I want to believe that, your a really bad liar."

He blushed. "And you also wouldn't have blushed earlier if it was 'just talking it out'."

He turned red and sighed. "We-uh almost kissed."

I was shocked. "That's awesome! Percabeth has set sai- Wait, almost?"

"Jason and Piper found us." He grumbled.

I chuckled. "Well that sucks." I heard his stomach grumble. "Let's go eat."

Percy glanced down at his stomach and dragged me to the cafeteria.

We sat down and I noticed that everyone was here except for Annabeth and Leo.

Soon after we came in, Annabeth walked in and sat next to Piper, occasionally glancing at Percy.

Then Leo walked in dragging his feet. "I could not find Calypso anywhere. I checked the whole school and couldn't find her. Uhghhh."

He sat down next to me. "Hey Calypso." he said nonchalantly and started eating.

The whole table was snickering when Leo processed what he just said.

His eyes widened and he scrambled to his feet. "Calypso? What are you doing here?"

I gave him a sweet smile. "Eating. What about you?"

He stuttered. "B-but, y-you were, I-uh saw you, how did you, uhhh."

The whole table started laughing and I smiled.

He sat down and started eating.

The laughter died down and everyone had their own conversations.

"I'm sorry."

I looked to my right and I was confused. "Huh?"

Leo sighed and turned to me. "I'm sorry."

I was even more confused. "What for?"

He tilted his head. "Uh, from earlier?"

I thought about what happened earlier. "Oh." I shrugged. "It's fine I guess."

"What do you mean 'I guess'?"

I rolled my eyes. "I guess I accept your apology."

He grinned. "Oh. Obviously. Who wouldn't accept an apology from the Supreme Argo II Captain!"

I rolled my eyes. "What's an 'Argo II'?"

He grinned(again) and stood up. "Lemme show you!"

I raised a brow. "You do realize that we're still in school."

He slowly sat down. "Yea I knew that."

I rolled my eyes.
