Janaya's POV

Jada told me everything that happened from when she had her miscarriage to why she at the hospital now. "Awe I'm so sorry Jada" I said hugging her as she cried

"Ny I don't think he was playing about breaking up with me"

"Girl you better not let that nigga breakup with you" I snapped at her

"I'm trying but i think he serious"

"I don't care how serious he is. I'm not about to let ya'll break up when ya'll need each other the most" I tried my best to convince her but at the end of the day it's not my decision

"Nya I couldn't even give him his first child"

"Girl are ya'll even sure that's his baby?" I asked her "She texted him the results" She said getting herself together

I couldn't help but laugh "Girl anybody can text some fake results. Ya'll really believed that?" I said in between laughs

"I didn't even think about that" she wiped her eyes

"Because you so busy crying" I said laughing at her

"Don't come for me Nya" She
snapped at me

"I still want my chicken you promised" I reminded her but she ignored me

"Whatever..So are you coming to my house or you going home?" I asked as I put my seat belt on and put the car in drive.  "I'm going home so I can talk to Malik when he gets home" I was kinda sad with her answer because I planned on sticking them with the kids while I went to sleep.

I dropped Jada off at home and I went home. When I unlocked the door and walked in it was dark and I heard the Tv on and I seen Messiah sleep wit Heaven asleep on his chest and the girls asleep on each side of him. They fell asleep watching Lion king, one of Messiah's favorite movies.

I decided to go take advantage of this moment and take a bath. I put rose petals and a cinnamon scent in the water and turned on Jacques.

My phone started to ring and I thought it was Jada but when looked at my phone it was my mom. I answered it in a annoyed tone and I guess she caught on.

"I hope you don't have a attitude because if anyone deserves to have a attitude it should be me" She snapped

I confused on why she called me talking all crazy "What?"

"Janaya why is the landlord leaving me voicemails saying that you haven't paid the bills in months and when he went to give you your eviction notice you weren't there. EVERYDAY YOU WEREN'T THERE!"

"Why didn't he just call me?"

"BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T ANSWERING YOUR PHONE!"

"Okay you caught me" I took a long sigh " I bought a house with Messiah after something happened there" I paused hoping she didn't question me.

"What happened?" I could tell she was growing agitated

"I got this under control mom, just trust me"

"Nya this is not only affecting you. This is messing up our credit and I'm not about to get stirred in this mess because you wanna play secret detective with your little boyfriend"

"Mom I said I got this under control but you don't need to disrespect Messiah. Every time something happen ya'll love to put his name in it when it has nothing to do with him. Your problem is with me not him so you can really chill." I hung up the phone not wanting to hear her response

She started to blow my phone up, I really didn't feel like going back and forth so I turned on my do not disturb on and turned my music back on. I got out the tub and put my pajamas on because she ruined my whole mood. I started to do my facial routine and the door opened but I couldn't look because I was washing my face. I felt somebody touch my back and I got kinda scared but when they touched my bare arm I relaxed because I know that touch from anywhere.

"I thought you were sleep" I said drying my face with a towel

"I woke up and put the kids in bed. I was about to come and join you but I overheard your conversation" He gave me a small smile

I avoided eye contact with him "Oh yeah, I got this under control I just need to finish my portfolio then I'll start focusing on that"

"I can help you Nya" he grabbed both my hands "When are you going to accept the fact that you can't do everything yourself?"

"When someone proves to me that I can't do everything myself" I said biting my bottom lip

"Let me be that person"

"That's the thing, I don't want you to be that person" I snatched away from him and left out the bathroom

I went and sat on the bed and his phone started ringing. I looked at him and it was Malik, I gave him the phone, he put it on speaker.

"Bro i'm really a dad now" Malik's excited voice cheered thru the phone

"Congrats bro"

"Where is Jada?" Messiah asked as I looked at him with a twisted face because I told him I dropped her off

"Oh I think she went home" he said kinda unsure

"Ya'll good?" Messiah asked Malik

" Yeah but I think I'm gonna end it" Malik said trying to lower his voice

"What?!" Messiah and I asked in unison

"Janaya is that you?"

"Yeah and I pray to god that you not trying to break up with my best friend to be with your supposedly baby mama" I couldn't hold my tongue anymore

"Have you not seen everything she has put me thru?" He started getting kinda loud

I snatched the phone from Messiah " What she put you thru no nigga what you put HER thru. You don't even know if that's really yo baby while you wanna be at the hospital playing daddy to another man baby while Jada probably at home up crying still waiting for your delusional ass to get there!"

"We just not meant to be and this really doesn't concern you. Don't you got 2 kids. Exactly. You should be worrying about them not about me and Jada"

"Bro Malik you really on some bullshit right now because you talking real crazy" I tried to hold my anger in before I end up throwing Messiah phone at the wall

'Naw Janaya you the one on bullshit because you too busy worrying about us when you the one with 2 baby daddy's" he snapped sounding like he been waiting to use that one

I laughed a little to myself and threw the phone on the bed next to Messiah who was sitting there with wide eyes and his mouth open.

"Tell your friend I said congrats" I said smiling as I left out the room. I grabbed my keys off the counter and left out the door
