I woke up the next morning at 9:45 a.m. I was so tired from staying up and talking to Sam about the concert. We talked about what we were going to wear, how we were going to do our hair, you know, all that girly stuff. I decided to wear my jean shorts with a green blouse I bought in the middle of the summer.

“Jamie are you up?! You have to take a shower. Sam Called, she’s going to be here at 10:30.” My mom yelled before leaving the house.

I shot up like a spring board. I quickly undressed myself and took a 5 minute shower. I always took quick showers, my best was two minutes. I took off the old make up I had on my face and applied eyeliner on the bottom part of my eye and mascara. I brushed through my long brown, curly hair and let it dry naturally. Time Check, It was 10:15. Sam and I decided to go to the venue early to look around, go shopping and hopefully catch a glimpse of them before they went on the stage. It was 10:34 when I heard a honk from outside. It was Sam. I quickly grabbed my phone, wallet, and keys before I shut the door behind me.

“Hey! Hurry up! I figured we could stop for breakfast.” Sam shouted out the window. I quickly got into the passenger seat.

“Sure. I’m starving anyway. You excit---“ I looked at her for a moment and realized that she was wearing a pizza costume.

“What the fuck are you wearing?” I yelled. I never swear, but when I do, I blink as if my body rejects it. Kind of like Mila Kunis in Friends with Benefits.

“I want them to notice me.” She said softly driving out of my driveway.

“You’ll get the whole fucking audience noticing you like that.” I explained smiling.

“Well, at least they’ll notice me! You’re dressed like you’re going to school.” She sneered.

“Excuse me for not wanting to be obsessive.” I giggled, looking away out the window.

“touché.” She said.

After an hour and a half of driving we finally got to the casino. It was about 12 o’clock and we didn’t even stop for breakfast. I was literally starving.

The minute we walked into the casino all you saw were girls walking around with one direction t-shirts and signs, and surprisingly, Sam didn’t stand out at all.

“Can you believe this?” I said making a weird expression on my face looking at Sam.

“OMG WE ARE BREATHING IN THE SAME AIR AS THEM. HOLY FUCK. AHHHHH.” Sam freaked out.

“Calm down! I know this is exciting, but they’re just normal talented people.” I explained. “Besides, they’re probably not even here yet.”

“Right. Okay, you’re right. ..Maybe I should change.” She admitted.

“Thank God. Did you bring extra clothes?” I asked

“Yeah.. I was worried that security would let me in if I wore this- wait, what do you mean “THANK GOD?.” She asked.

“Don’t you think it would have been embarrassing for me to walk around with a girl dressed in a pizza costume?” I said softly looking at her straight in the eye.

“I wouldn’t care. I would be happy to walk around with a pizza.” She said as she confidently walked over the bathrooms near the arena. She got changed into some nice jean shorts, with a rip near the bottom of them and a purple shirt with 1D In white. I have to say, it was a cute outfit. We started walking throughout the casino when I saw the music store.

I loved going to music stores. Especially Guitar Center. But, this wasn’t Guitar center, it was place that had old music, posters, Cd’s, guitars that people could try out, it was my favorite store out of the whole casino. I quickly stopped Sam in her tracks and grabbed her arm.

“PLEASE. WE HAVE TO GO IN.” I begged her, looking her straight in the eye.

She sighed. “..Fiiiine.” She said bitterly. “But they better have a One direction Cd.”

When we walked into the store, I saw guitars everywhere and one person at the cashier register. I walked over to a quiet part of the store and picked up a black acoustic guitar with a white ring around it. It reminded me of mine which was at home.

I started to play one of my Original songs called Runaway:

What happened we were so normal

A normal family at last

You looked at me you didn’t see anything

I thought you had my back

You go around hurting people that mean

So much to me and you

I stopped singing when I heard someone coming near me, so I quickly set the guitar on the stand and as I turned around I crashed into something, or even someone and fell to the floor.

“Oh man, I’m so sorry! Are you okay, love?” The boy said.

Everything was really hazy to me, I mean we bumped heads pretty hard. I then looked up to find a boy with curly brown hair, like myself with the most gorgeous green eyes in the world looking down at me.

I breathed heavily as I said, “Uhmm, yeah I’m fine.” As I stood up he reached his hand out to help me up. I stared at it for what seemed to be an eternity, but then I finally decided to take it. His hands were so soft, almost like a baby’s cheek.

“Listen, I’m really sorry. I heard someone singing over here, so I just thought-“ I cut him off.
