I RETURNED TO THE CENTRAL PLAZA AND FOUND BLAKE WAITING FOR ME. My Mist cover had to have worn off because when he saw me he rushed up and gave me a hug. "Thank gosh, did it work?"
"Yeah, it worked,"
"Good," He smiled. "Did you find the Labyrinth entrance?"
"No," Ferrum interrupted. "But he did find out something else"
I went into detail to Blake about what I heard from Apollo's conversation with his son Aaron. Blake made a twisted face when I finished. "Oh...you think this Aaron guy will be a problem?"
"Not sure," I said while glancing around. "But what I do know, is that if he shows up we need to be extra cautious,"
Blake tapped his foot. "Hmm, well I think our best bet is to get out of the city first, we need to get far away,"
"I agree," Ferrum said aloud. "We'll find another Labyrinth entrance, there are infinite," Before I could continue something behind me shifted. I spun around and paled as a young man and a girl greeted me.
The girl stared at me curiously as if I were a science specimen. Her dyed blonde hair was tied back tightly into a long wavy ponytail. A Velcro bag was strapped diagonally around her waist.
"Uh...who are you people?" Blake asked innocently.
The guy on the right made a goofy face. My veins tightened in anger. His familiarity was clearly due to his heritage, it almost disturbed me how much he resembled the Sun God. I knew who he was now, and like his father, Aaron was attractive in a flashy way. His build was fairly athletic, but toned with light tan skin and golden blond hair to match the classic blue eyed look. He sported an orange light jacket with a black T-shirt underneath it. He wore camouflage on the bottom that exaggerated his already goofy appearance. I found it a bit absurd to where that in this heat but didn't question it. "Sup' dude?" I didn't know what to say. For once I decided to let Blake do the talking. "I am Aaron by the way, and this is...uh...Zoe," I blinked at him while Blake just turned to me and gave me a soft nod that he understood what was going on.
"Nice to meet you Aaron, I'm Blake Summers, Son of Poseidon," Blake said and stuck out his hand.
Zoe eyed him coldly and then turned to me. "Now who are you?" I glanced at her eyes. I felt like I was looking into the most sadistic beauty with those eyes; it was as if all the black holes in the universe were condensed into two black orbs.
I was hesitant to speak. "I'm Chase,"
Aaron looked up at me and for a moment tried to hide a faint smile. "Are you a Demigod?"
I tried to smile at Aaron to hide my distrust. "Of course, I'm a Demigod, though I'm still adjusting to this unfortunately,"
Zoe raised an eyebrow. "Then if you are a Demigod, who is your godly parent?"
I felt hesitant to give them the information that they were seeking. Aaron made me nervous, he could have Apollo flash in at any given moment. I needed to be extra cautious around him but decided to give him the information he sought for. "My Dad is Zeus,"
"Whoa, we don't see those kinds of Demigods every day," He put his hand out for a high five, hesitantly, I high fived him.
"Are you two Demigods too?" I asked curiously knowing full well Aaron was at least one.
Zoe snorted rudely. "What did you think we were? Gods?"
"Well...we run from one," Blake laughed. I nudged his shoulder like shut up idiot.
Zoe tilted her head oddly in a way that reminded me of an owl. "Who?"
My stomach felt queasy, but lying would make Aaron catch on; it was too late now. "Apollo,"
