I MAGINE A TWO-HUNDRED-POUND WOLF POUNCING ON YOU. (Yeah, not a fun experience). I was knocked off my feet and slammed into the ground, I cried out in pain. I found it funny how Lycaon automatically targeted me first; sharp blinding white fangs loomed over me. The wolf had me pinned down. His red eyes dug into my soul. I guess in wolf form he couldn't talk, the Wolf King slammed down on top of me and snapped his teeth a little too close to my face. I screamed for help, hey what can I say? It's hard to attack a snapping canine. Bethany stabbed a razor vine into his back allowing me to quickly maneuver to the left. Lycaon bit into the ground causing him to lock in place. Blake bludgeoned Lycaon in the head with the dull side of his trident screaming; "Die!" over and over again. Andromeda took a piece of metal from my backpack and swung it at Lycaon. I took the chance to hone in with my electricity and attacked Lycaon in the chest with a very unforgiving shock of high voltage. Normally, that should have exploded a monster into dust, but Lycaon seemed unfazed. He rose angrily from the ground and charged at me like a bull seeing red. He just missed me. Bethany was becoming overwhelmed with the wolves that bombarded her. Her razor vine wall was weakening.
"How did that not kill him?!" I shouted. Lycaon bared his teeth at me viciously and rammed into me. I made a loud yelp as the wind got knocked out of me. Lycaon crushed my ribs. He continued by hurling himself at me, just barely missing my chest. "HEY YOU!" Blake screamed. "NOT MY FRIEND!" Lycaon bared his fangs and backed away from me. The wolves that Bethany was attacking began whimpering and ran away in cowardice; Blake swung his trident back and forth trying to scare Lycaon away. His plan ultimately failed, as Blake swung and missed, Lycaon slammed him into the wall of the Labyrinth. Blake let a loud strangled scream, I rushed forward as fast I could, (As much as my ribs would allow) and zapped lightning violently into Lycaon's back. A loud growl pierced the air, Lycaon whipped around and head-butted me, sending me straight into the wall. More broken bones, I didn't think it was possible to be any more pain. (Boy was I wrong)
"He isn't dying!" Bethany screamed.
"No duh!" Blake screamed. He backed into the wall and cowered like a whimpering baby. Lycaon was immune to our attacks. How could a monster be so invincible? Everything has a weakness. Lycaon snapped at Blake, loud screams emitted from his direction. Bethany responded by kicking Lycaon in the back; he ignored her and continued snapping at Blake violently.
"This is absolutely insane—!" Andromeda shouted.
Blake paled. "Little help here!" He screamed, something wasn't right. A thought jogged into my mind. Silver, werewolves are weakened by silver.
"Guys! Silver!" I screamed. "Use SILVER!"
Andromeda made a face. "I don't think we have any silver!" I looked down at my arm. Apollo had used a silver arrow to hit me with; a gross idea crossed my mind. As Blake and Bethany distracted Lycaon together, I quickly ripped the bandages off my arm. I plunged my finger deep into the dried wound drawing fresh blood. Silver iron fibers were inside of it. I cried in pain that rivaled Lycaon's. My finger was now coated in metallic blood. Lycaon spun around and sniffed my dripping blood like a vampire. His red eyes lit up like a flashing neon light. With a final charge, Lycaon hurled himself at me baring his fangs. In a desperate motion, I sprinkled my metallic blood onto the rapier Blake gave me and made an uppercut motion. I had done it. The rapier had rammed right into Lycaon's chest. BOOM! I caused some serious damage, steam slowly emitted from his weakened body, a nasty burning hole formed over his chest and he collapsed to the ground. Lycaon howled one final time before exploding into a cloud of yellow-silver dust. I fell to the ground alongside Blake, he looked a mess. He was heaving weakly.
