Water And Land

It was morning I could feel the sunlight dance on my eyelids.  I open my eyes to look down at the beautiful person laying in my arms. We stayed here together all night.  That fact that (y/n) stayed exactly where she was just to be in my arms all night gave me a new sense of awareness.  She really dose trust me. I tuck us into the blankets more to enjoy the last bit of body heat before I' jump into the warm water to swim about and do my daily reading.  Its only 5am I have pleanty of time to just lay here and enjoy this.  As i lay there i couldn't help but let my mind wander back to the night before where we had exchanged each other in our most natural state.  Her body curves into mine and our legs lay tangled in each other. I dare not move because it will wake her up and I enjoy looking at the stubborn little punk when she's simply sleeping.  Nothing more just resting.  Where shes taking a break undoing wrongs and spewing facts on anything she could.  It gives me time to soak in every deatail in her face and the way she breaths.  I was entranced by her.

**he's still holding onto me. I don't want to move ill just keep my eyes closed and enjoy this moment a bit longer.  I must be crazy for getting involved with someone so quick and from work too but I guess that's normal here.  There's a lot of couples working together here.  Not that we get out enough to even meet other people so its understandable.  I wonder if Abe has ever dated anyone here.  My gut is telling me no but he's so enjoyable and adorable I can't believe no one would make a move.  His skin is so soft its not like yours or mine its smoother less leathery and more velvet like.  His body felt cozy and safe like the feeling you get when you get under your sheets after a long stressful day;  That's how Abe feels.  I just don't want to leave this position.  I flip over my eyes still closed so i can put my head up on his chest.  He sighs and pulls me closer to him and rubs my back.
"Your so cute when you sleep.  I know you're asleep but I just want to tell you how important you are to me.  I've been so lonely all these years then you come into my life and take up this giant space in my heart.  Its crazy to think I'd go from wishing to have a more human life to finally getting it.  Im sorry i don't look like a normal guy and I'm sorry when were older we can't just retire and live our lives as is or go out on dates like everyone else.  But if you stay with me I will make sure you have a long happy life.  Ill protect you and care for you like no one else.  I love you so incredibly much ive never been like this before and i don't want to loose this."
He's incredible.  I cuddle up to him a bit closer and place my hands gently on his chest. In response he kisses my head and holds me tighter into him.  His boxers wrinkle underneath me as I adjust my legs on his.  Its time for me to "wake up" and enjoy our cuddle session.
"Morning."
"Good morning sleepy head.  Pleasent dreams?"
"Very Pleasent.  And you?"
"Best sleep ive had in 10 years. It could also have to do with the very warm cuddles and all the kisses last night."
"That certainly helped me. So today's the day right?"
"Yea.  Unfortunetly."
"What time do you leave?"
"After dinner Manny wanted to find our head quarters before the mission.  Once we touch base ill send you a text and trade all the contact info to you."
"Good. Do they have a tank set up for you?"
"From what i understand they do.  Manny warned me it won't be as spacious as mine here but itll do for sleeping and getting my daily need."
"Well let me know how it is.  I hope its not the size of a kiddy pool. That would be horrible."
"Hey as long as it wasnt like the mission we had in brazil 3 years ago im fine."
"What happened?"
"They filled a bathtub with fresh water and said that was the best they could do. I had to sneek out at night with red to swim in the locals river.  Couldn't even tell you how many times we were almost caught."
"That sounds terrible."
"Yea it was not enjoyable.  Although red and I did have a good time on that trip. There was this small homeless girl that camped out down there who saw us and we got her to believe that I was a mermaid and red was a forest fairy.  It was funny seeing him interact with a little girl he didnt know what to do. It was fun. "
"You two are close i like hearing you have a good friend.  Even if he hates my guts."
"Hes a touchy guy he'll come around eventually.  Ill be with him while im away so he's bound to figure out were together. "
"I think he has a good hunch that we are.  Unless He's blind.  Were kind of always together."
He chuckled and i could hear his stomach rumble.
"Breakfast?"
"No one will be up so we would get first dibs."
"Come on lets get our pajamas on and go to the dinning hall." 

After breakfast Abe went on a swim while I enjoyed the hot tub outside.  I haven't used it yet and decided why not.  I put in some music and hopped in.  The brisk new York fall felt good on my face compared to how hot the hot tub was.  I needed time to collect myself and enjoy some peace and quiet on my own.  Then i hear a quiet little splash that wasn't me.  My eyes immediately opened.  There was nothing there.  Maybe some water from the roof?  It did rain last night.  I closed my eyes ignoring it.  The once again i heard the splash followed by a few little splooshes.  There's something in the water my gut is telling me there is.  So i get out of the hot tub as fast as I humanly can.  I grab the cleaning net and start to skim through the hot tub when I hit something at the bottom of the hot tub.  I scoop it up real quick in a panic trying to think of what it could possibly be.  It was a few rocks.  How could they get in here?

"Abe? Are you throwing rocks in here?"
No answer.  I peek in through the window to see him swimming away with head phones on.  So its not him. 

"Alright who's messing with me?"
Absolute quiet.
"I mean it who's there?"
Nothing.  I look over the edge of the patio to see a red tail poking out of a bush. That explains that.  He must of saw me get in great. 
Alright Hellboy game over.  Two can play this game.  I go and grab my glass at my bed stand and fill it with water from the hot tub and walk to the ledge of the patio.   In a single swing I splash the water down on to him hearing hiw growl and cus to himself.  He scoffed off with out saying anything knowing him hes probably going to tell abe.  i hope he dose.
I want to take some time with Abe before he leaves we have the whole day to whatever we want so i might as well go bother him a bit.  I walk over to his tank were hes is sitting at the bottom solving a rubix cube.  He must of been aware of me staring at him.

"Enjoying the view are we?"
I couldnt help but shy away a little.
" yea...I didn't mean to stare."
"Stare all you want.  I am yours after all.  So what dose the trouble maker want to do today?"
"I'm not sure all i know is i want to spend ever minute you have left with you."
"That can be done."
He swam up to the top of his tank. 
"Hop in the water is warm."
I was still in my bathing suit so I took his offer.  I approached the water sliding in slowly.  He was right the water was nice and warm.  As I got used to the water he swam over to my side and tangled me up in his velvety arms.  I put my head in the crook of his neck taking in the noise of of the water and his breathing.  His hands started on my back but now they moved to the back of my thighs bringing my legs around his waist.
"Well I like where this is going Abe."
"Well I have to spoil my girl."
I pushed myself up against him for a kiss.  But i couldn't help but feel his member against my thigh.  I mean what harm can come to just moving my leg on it.  As I lightly pushed my leg on it I could feel it twitch against me.  He was fully erect and by the looks blushing.  He started to trail his kisses down my neck and lifting me up closer to him.  By the way things were escalating I knew how we were going to spend our time left together, and I couldn't be more giddy about what we were going to do.
