Chapter 21

Lori's POV

It was Jake. Wtf. Is he stalking me?

"What the actual fuck! Jake! Are you following me?" I asked. This is creeping me out.

"Shhh! Keep your voice down, yes I have been following you but you need to let me explain." he said trying to calm me down but only one word came to my mind.

"PEDOPHILE!! Calum! Help!" I screamed trying to run out the kitchen but Jake put a hand over my mouth trying to get me to shut up. I'm going to die alone. Well I'm going to actually die with Jake since that bitch is going to kill me.

Calum came in through the kitchen looking at me confused. I bit Jake's hand so he can let go then I flung myself to Calum.

"Lori, you better not be messing with me again. You don't know how much I want you back with me." Calum whispered to me.

"Calum! There is a pedophile stalking and following me and that's all you have to say!" I screamed panicking.

"No! I'm not a pedophile. I did follow her but only to warn her about something important. Just let me explain." Jake said.

"Lori do you know him?" Calum asked.

"Yeah, he's Jake." I said

"Jake who?" he asked.

"Jake from State Farm." I said trying to keep a straight face but I ended up laughing. So did Calum. But then he got serious and pulled me closer to him by my waist.

"You have 3 minutes to explain." Calum said

"Well I found out my cousin, is friends with Derek. After the night at the club. I needed to know whether it was you or not that my cousin is telling me about. Anyways I did my research and found out he is talking about you. Derek wants to come after you after he gets out of jail. The thing is he might come out of jail a few months earlier since he got one of the best lawyers. He will probably get out in one month or two. So I came here to warn you." Jake said.

I just stood there, panicked. I looking at Calum and he was already looking at me.

"You went to a club? When?" he asked.

"Is that the only thing you heard out of the whole danger thing?" I asked him playfully smacking him and stepping away from him.

"I'm just kidding, I'm just trying to lighten the mood." he said laughing and pulling me closer towards him.

"He knows you're on tour with the vamps so I think you should go with 1D and 5SOS but you have to stay hidden. By the way, their tour bus is fixed." Jake said.

I got out of Calum's grip to hug Jake.

"Thanks for warning me. It means a lot." I said whispering to him, still hugging him.

"Your welcome. By the way I'm not a pedophile." He said whispering back. I let go lauging.

"Now shoo! Before the bus starts and takes you further from home." I said pushing him out the other entrance. I hugged him and kissed his cheek as a friendly gesture.

After he left I closed and locked the doors and windows feeling paranoid. Calum kind of helped to. After we finished I went back to the kitchen and Calum followed closely behind.

"So are we ok now? Or do you still hate me?" Calum asked

"We're okay now. By the way thank you for trying to save me from Jake when I thought he was a pedophile." I said to him smiling.

"Well I couldn't let Jake from State Farm take you." he said bumping his hip with mine. After me and Calum finished eating we told everyone what Jake told us. The vamps agreed with me saying it would be safer if I traveled with the other boys. Well except from Connor. He kept saying he could just protect me. He wouldn't let my leg go.
