Chapter 31

Lori's POV

I watched as they left. What an I going to do? I'm not ready to be a mother. I don't even have a job.

I drove us back home deciding what to do.

"I think it's time I should start looking for a job." I said switching lanes.

"Well what do you have in mind?" Jackie said.

"I don't know but it has to be a job where I can get lots of money." I said.

"Wait, why don't you go back to being Rose." Jocelyne said.

"You don't have to travel to places outside the U.S. you can just travel around the states." Jackie suggested.

"You guys are absolutely brilliant!" I screamed swerving the car a bit.

"Eyes on the road!" they both screamed.

Once I got home I called my manager and told her Jackie's and Jocelyne's idea.

She said that idea was brilliant and I start in a few days.

"Hey guys, we leave in a few days." I said. They nodded going back to whatever they were doing.

Calum's POV

Fuck. I messed everything up.

"I knew it." Louis muttered as he took a seat on our private jet.

"What?" I asked.

"All you ever do is hurt her, you don't deserve her. I do, I would never hurt her." he said glaring at me.

"But she's mine." I said.

"No she isn't, you lost her, you just watched her slip away." he said.

Louis is really getting on my nerves.

"Ok, I get it that I let her slip away but you don't have to keep saying it." I said.

I put my face between my hands. Why did I let her go?

Why did I ever think telling her I didn't love her would be easier?

I just want to be there with her to hold her and tell her how much I love her but I can't.

She probably doesn't want me any more.

Lori's POV

*4 months later*

"Goodnight Washington!" I screamed into the mic running back stage.

Woah, I'm so exhausted. All I need is a few more stops in Washington before I can take a break.

"Lori, you need new wardrobe, your stomach is starting to grow." Sally said.

Sally is my manager, she is really nice.

"I know." I sighed taking my wig off and eye contacts off. I couldn't re-dye my hair since it was bad for my and my baby's health.

"Your doctors appointment is in half an hour so hurry up." She said.

I got in my tour bus and started rummaging through my clothes. I finally decided on an outfit.

By the time I was finished getting ready, the bus driver was parking at some clinic.

"Jocelyne! Jackie! We are here." I screamed getting off the bus. They followed quickly behind.

We sat in the waiting room for about half an hour before they called my name.

"So since you are about 5 months pregnant we are able to identify the gender." Mrs.Elliot said

"Can I know the gender then?" I asked.

"Congratulations! You're having a boy!" she screamed.

Jackie and Jocelyne were already saying baby names out loud.

After a quick stop at Pizza Hut we were finally home.

"I'm going to call Zayn and tell him." I said smiling.

"Aren't you ever going to tell Calum?" Jocelyne asked.

"No. At least not over phone." I said dialing Zayn's number.

"Lori! You haven't called in a long time!" Zayn said

"I know! I'm sorry, but I have good news." I said smiling.

"Well, are you going to tell me or are you going to leave me hanging?" He asked.

"The baby is a boy!" I screamed onto the phone.

"Lori I'm so happy for you! But you need to tell Calum." he said.

Calum's POV

We were currently on our way to our next stop. I feel like everyone is hiding something from me but what.

"Lori I'm so happy for you! But you need to tell Calum." Zayn said.

"Tell me what?" I said opening his door.

"Lori, I uh have to go." Zayn said hanging up.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Ask Lori." was all he said before walking away.

Lori's POV

*3 months later*

"Hurry the hell up!" I screamed trying to control my breathing.

"I'm driving as fast as I can!" Jocelyne screamed as Jackie tried to calm me down.

I got my phone and started to call Zayn.

"Zayn! I think I'm going into labor in a few hours!" I screamed.

"Oh my god!" He screamed

"Liam, she's going into labor!" Zayn screamed.

"I want to be there." Louis whined.

"Shut up Louis you are going to ruin the surprise!" Harry said.

"Harry!" Niall screamed.

"Am I in speaker?" I asked

"Yeah but don't worry we will be there when you give birth, Jackie kind of told Ashton that you were close to exploding so we figured we would fly down to be there." Zayn said.

"Holy shit! Jocelyne! Look out!" I screamed as I saw her switch to the wrong lane.

We all screamed but calmed down after we figured we were ok.

"Holy shit Louis be careful!" Zayn screamed.

"Sorry some crazy person drove on the wrong lane." Niall said.

"Niall?" I asked.

"Yeah..." he answered.

"That's us you moron!" I screamed I saw a car make a U turn and was now driving behind us.

We arrived at the hospital and I watched as Louis parked next to us.

They all got out the car running towards us.

Louis carried me bridal style and they rest ran behind him.

"Someone help! Her water broke!" Louis screamed as nurses came and took me away.

*7 very disturbing hours later*

"I can't believe I just watched that." Niall said looking scared.

"Oh man up Niall it wasn't you giving birth." I said.

"At least she didn't break your finger!" Zayn screamed waving the little cast in his face.

Yep, it was very painful. Poor Zayn. Eh. He offered to hold my hand, his fault.

"Mam, what would you like your child to be named?" the nurse asked.

"Kevin." I said without hesitation.

The baby had Calum's honey colored eyes and Calum's nose.

After a long ass time I got to go home. The only thing I didn't expect was to see a fuming Calum inside my home.
