Before the War( Remus Lupin Love Story)

Chapter 4

When I woke up the next morning I couldn't believe I would be starting Hogwarts. I jumped up smiling ear to ear as I prepared myself and finished what little I had left to pack. I was nervous to the point were I didn't eat breakfast that morning. I smiled putting on a purple dress preparing myself as my older brothers William and Briar walk in grabbing my trunk carrying it down stairs. 

" SO, Vic you excited to be attending the legendary Hogwarts" William smirked at me as I only nodded grabbing my travel bag in case of an emergency. 

As I walked down stairs I noticed my mother had a grim look on her face but I didn't pay much attention at the time. My father snatched my broom handing me a newer one and I gasped seeing it was the Clean sweep 3. They were just released a few days back and I was now the proud owner of it. I hugged my father before oogaling the Broom. It was a mahogany color with black bristles. I was ecstatic. 

" Since I know this move was hard on you. Your mother and I decided that you wont be taking the Moon trimmer with you this year. So here you go now put it to good use!" I hugged my father as we prepared for Kings cross station. My father would be the one taking me today to the platform not mother. Mother never took any of us to the platform in america after the incident with William. She hugged him for to long as the train started to roll out of the station. 

" Thank you Pop, thanks ma" I hugged her too as we got my luggage in the car and I waved as my father started to drive away. 

" I'm gonna miss you guys so much. I'm gonna miss the terror to society more" I heard him chuckle as we drove for an hour.It was actually a fun experience hearing my father swearing up a storm about traffic in the city. 

We eventually arrived at the busy train station as my father got a trolley taking my stuff putting it on as we walked to were we need to be plat form 9 3/4. I stood looking around making sure no muggle was looking before walking threw the barrier. The sight before me was amazing. The scarlet red train was filling up with students of all ages. Parents where hugging their kids saying goodbye and owls were flying everywhere as well as cats climbing into the train and toads hoping around. Trinkets were flying all over students hugging each other before climbing into the train. 

" Please be on your best behavior Victoria. No pranks, No failing the courses, and especially No boys" I see how serious he is and snort laughing.

" Yes Pop no boys" I kiss his cheek before getting on the train waving as he leaves and I smile looking for a compartment. 

" Dammit there all filled and I just want to be able to relax for a bit " I mumble to myself as I walk back to the last train car seeing Lily talking to another girl in the same robes as her and another in a Hufflepuff robe. 

" Mind if I sit with you guys?" I asked nervous as Lily smiled shaking her head.

" Yeah come on in we have room" She smiled to me as I walked in putting my stuff up on the rack as I took notice to the girls staring at me. One was a wavy blonde haired girl with bright blue eyes. She was small and looked as if she could still be a first year. While the other girl had Dirty blonde hair and vibrant purple eyes. She was about my height but a little bit on the chubby side of things. 

" Victoria these are my friends Marlene Mckinnon " She points to the wavy blonde haired girl in Gryffindor robes." An this is Louise Bonnefoy" She points to the other girl with purple eyes. 

"Your gonna be a Hufflepuff " Louise turns to me smiling. " I'm a seer, one of the only real ones left in the world. " She smiles softly at me as we all talked to each other. Apparently Marlene was from a pureblood family that loved muggles. While Louise is a french student who's parents moved here right before her first year of school. Lily is a muggle born and was let me repeat that WAS friends with a kid in Slytherin. That is until he called her a really nasty word. 

As we talked our compartment door slid open and what happened next didn't surprise me at all. It was the four boys from the Ice cream parlor. The one who is called James runs in and practically tackles Lily to the ground.

" MY LILY FLOWER WE ARE REUNITED " I could tell Lily was getting agitated and so I stood up smacking him with a book. 

" Do not touch her again Potter or so help me it wont end well !" I glared at the boy who was shocked before standing up so I was slightly looking up at him. 

" Is that a challenge Hollows?" His smirk needed wiped off his face

" Don't test me Potter the last person that did ended up being my pet raccoons dinner" I grinned evilly as he backed up a little and I heard a snort from Black as I glared at him too." Your not any better letting your heathen of a friend tackle an innocent women!" I glared at him and the other two.

Eventually they left after I beat them with a book out of the compartment. Lily looked relieved and the other two couldn't stop laughing as I embarrassed Potter and his crew. 

" That was awesome Vic, I hope we all have classes together now. " Lily was loosing it at that point as was Marlene. Before to long though we ended up pulling into Hogsmeade station as were told to follow the others. I climb into a carriage that isn't occupied but that doesn't last long though. I blame my poor life decisions on this moment. Out of the four boys three of them climb into the carriage. 

" What the actual " I'm cut off by Potter laughing and Black enjoying this." You two are seriously messed up in the head" I glared at them as the last one Remus closes the door. " Wheres the other one ? Or did Porky miss the carriage? 

" The two boys laugh louder as I look outside to see a kid with greasy black hair covered in red slime and I looked at Remus. " You allowed them to bully that kid" with a flick of my hand the slime comes off and I smirk opening the door as it hits Potter square in the face followed by Blacks Hair. 

" MY HAIR MY BEAUTIFUL LUSHES BLACK HAIR" Sirius screamed and I only smirked as I notice Remus was laughing." MOONY YOU TRAITOR DON'T SIDE WITH THE ENEMY NOW"  I only laughed as we arrived at the school. 

" Bye guys see ya on the inside" I hoped down running in before they could retaliate. I stared at awe at the castle. Moving pictures, a lake, the stone on the building was beautiful. As I walked inside I saw moving paintings that we never had at Ilvermorny. Some of them were perfect in every which way. I spotted a few Ghosts floating by laughing and caring on as they went into what I think is the mess hall.

" You must be Miss Hollows If you would follow me please we must do your sorting first before the first years. " In front of me stood a women in her late 20's early 30's. She had Black hair that must be tied up in a bun under her pointed hat. She wore long red silk robes and was lanky in build. She was actually a very pretty women.

" I'm Professor McGonagall your transfiguration professor, now if I may miss Hollows we need to get you sorted quickly" I only nodded as she took me to the small stool placing this old rugged hat on top of my head. 

" Hmm isn't it a tad bit early for this? Any who... Oh my I have never seen your line before. Your part Fawley. With a name like that you'd do well in Slytherin... But at the same time your also a Boothby. ... My my your courages and very Loyal... AH I know were to put you" 

" BEST BE HUFFLEPUFF"
