Before the War( Remus Lupin Love Story)

Chapter 7

REMUS POV

After I said that both Padfoot and Prongs looked at me with a face.

" Moony you deserve love and were sure shes perfect for you!" 

" Yeah Moony look shes reading about Werewolfs in her spare time!" I saw them both giving me a dark smirk before they grabbed my arm and pushed me out towards her. 

" Oh Hey Remus" Her smile was doing something to me the way she smiled something was different." Oh hey Victoria, Um did you want to walk to Defense against Dark Arts later?" I saw her smile again as she looked at me." Okay great, I wont get lost now" I sighed a little thankful she didn't notice I was blushing a little.

" Okay well we should get moving the class starts in about fifteen minuets." I smiled down at her as she packed up her bags. I spotted the book about Werewolfs and Vampires" What you reading? " I picked up the book as she try's to snatch it back but I hold it out of her reach. 

" Remus give it back ! My friend Isabella sent me that during the summer" I saw panic in her face!

" Nah, I'm gonna keep this " I saw her face turn into something dark 

" You have five seconds to give it back" I heard her growl slightly causing me to smirk.

" Or what?" I noticed she was about to lunge but I moved quickly running out of the library as she follows quickly after me.

Sirius POV

" Prongs those two are gonna be perfect for each other don't you think? " I look over to James who was trying not to loose it at the scene that unfolded in front of us.

" Your right padfoot but Remus shouldn't have panicked like that. Bet ya 5 galleons she beats him for this!" I grinned shaking his hand" Your on!" 

James and I left the library shortly after heading to DADA in hopes of watching it all go down. As we approached the room we heard a loud smacking sound and a thud. I walked in to see a seething Victoria and Remus looking a bit pale. 

" OI Moony ya alright there?" I said a little worried about my friend as Victoria took her book going to sit by Lily and Louise. I noticed Sean was laughing as was a few raven claw students. I walked over to Sean as he snorts. 

" Ya buddy Lupin just got slapped by the new girl" Sean kept laughing as I noticed the red mark on Remus's face and his eyes were slightly dull. 

" Shut it Sean he panicked I think" I sat next to James as Sean was on the other side of me. 

Sean Jordan, was a half blood wizard. His father was a muggle born while his mother was a pure blood. It was actually interesting to watch the raven claw boy pull pranks on his class mates. any ways once the professor walked in it became deadly silenced. Professor Lamia was an interesting DADA professor. He was scary and only had a few favorite students. Rumor had it though he was a vampire. It was odd but we enjoyed the gossip. 

" Good evening students, Welcome to advanced DADA. You are the selected group of students hand picked by Headmaster Dumbledore to be in my class. We will be learning how to protect each other from dark magic, Sirens, and much more. But for right now I must do roll call and then we can work towards perfecting our Patronus okay?"

I noticed he had an upbeat attitude which could only mean one thing. This class was going to be epic.He started calling out names shortly after.

" Sirius Black" 

"Louise Bonnefoy"

" Carson Carter"

"Lily Evans"

" Louis Gray"

"Victoria Hollows"

"Remus Lupin"

" Sean Jordan"

" Marlene Mckinnon"

"James Potter"

" Ryan Ski"

"All twelve are here and accounted for so lets begin. Ill be putting every one in groups of two. Now remember to work on your patronus." I smirked getting James as my partner but I felt bad for Remus being with Victoria who if looks could kill he would be dead. 

Victorias POV

I slapped Remus Lupin. That bloody " I frowned hearing my name and his as were partnered up for this and I groaned knowing it was going to be a hell of evening. I got up walking over to him with a bad scowl on my face. I knew this was going to be a bad day. 

" Do you know what your patronus is? " He turned to me his green eyes holding something behind them. What am I thinking hes probably up to something. 

" Um no not yet. We hadn't touch that section at Ilvermorny. " I sat down as he pulls out his wand 

" Think of the happiest memory you have and then you say Expecto Patronum. " I watched as Remus does so and before long a wolf shoots out of the wand. My eyes couldn't have gotten bigger as it nudged me and I smiled petting it happily as the others start and I snort seeing a Doe, and a stag prancing around happily as a big black dog shoots out of Sirius's wand as Louise has a golden retriever. I sigh thinking back and remember the scene from before going to Diagon Alley. 

" EXPECTO PATRONUM" What shot out of my wand surprised me. A large wolf shot out and I turned crimson as we hear whistling from the marauders. 

" DAMN MOONY GO GET SOME" I heard Black and Potter yell from a crossed the room. My wolf turned to them growling and I smirked a little as the other wolf stands in front of her growling at the two idiots and I hear Remus chuckle a bit. 

"Seems like they agree those two are each a half of a full moron" I smiled a bit as Remus starts packing up for dinner." So see ya tomorrow? I smiled a little as he nodded before leaving the room. 

Before Long Lily came over to me and snorted." Hes smitten with you Hollows!" I looked at her stunned." No he isn't were just friends right now" I glared at her.

" Yeah right name your first daughter after me" She snorted running away before I could hit her with the book. " Damn red head" I muttered packing up as Louise and I walk to the great hall together seeing all the students eating their dinners before leaving for their common rooms. I quickly ate and left to my common room before getting a shower and going to bed. I just had one problem I couldn't sleep and I couldn't stop thinking about my patronus. This is going to be a long night.
