Before the War( Remus Lupin Love Story)

Chapter 6

The next morning I awoke early messing around getting my books in my bag and making sure I had my wand ready to go. I noticed Louise was sprawled out on her bed drool dripping down her face and I smiled shaking her awake. 

" Come on we have about fifteen minuets until they start serving breakfast." I saw her shoot up looking at me as if I had said the best thing in the world. 

" Food Food Food" Louise chanted the entire way to the great hall. I noticed we were one of the very first people to arrive. A couple Raven claw girls were sitting chatting away as a few Slytherins had just rolled in after us taking their seats. I sat at our table taking a few eggs and pieces of bacon as Lily walks over sitting with us. 

" Morning Vic, Morning Louise" Lily smiles at us her green eyes lighting up a bit. " I'm so excited for this year. Rumor has it were supposed to have Defense Against the Dark Arts everyday! Only problem is them" She points her thumb at the four guys scarfing down food. I eyed them carefully noting how Sirius had his hair tied back in a pony tail and Potters glasses were crooked slightly. Lupin didn't look much better while Peter fell asleep at the table. I watched as the professors were handing out the timetables and Sprout shooed Lily back to her table. 

"Here you girls go" Professor sprout handed us our timetables and walked off to find the few seventh years that had yet to show up. I looked at the time table smiling a bit. 

Well Looks like we have advanced potions first thing in the morning on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays with Gryffindor and advanced DADA with the few who are taking it." I smiled looking over my schedule.

As breakfast ended I looked up as a bucket of water drops right onto me as I walked out of the great hall. I heard laughter seeing the four douche bags laughing and I grin.

" Bring on the prank war Potter!" I smirked evilly as I fling the water at him walking to potions drying myself off before walking in. I took my seat next to Louise as she got out the cauldron and book prepping the station. As the rest of the students piled in. My luck though Lupin and Pettigrew sat behind me and I glared at them as Louise stood very still. 

" Your going to marry someone in this room " She pales a little." Sorry " She mumbles her eyes turning back to normal .

" No its okay" I smiled a little seeing all the guys in the room my eyes landing on Sirius and James as they were already making something in their cauldron. 

" This looks like a disaster waiting to happen" I mumbled hearing a chuckle behind me.

" You don't know the truth yet" Remus snorted as the cauldron exploded green stuff all over the room. " They do this once a month to get classes dismissed early" He sighs a little as Slughorn gives them detention and Sirius sings God bless ye merry hippogriffs.

" Okay then well looks like we will be seeing each other in DADA " Remus smiled at me and I nodded. Out of everyone only Remus, James, Lilly, Louise, and Sirius will be attending this class. Dumbledore's Orders. There were a few students from the other houses including a few from Slytherin. I had heard rumors though that the man calling him self Voldemort is coming into power and recruiting people of pure blood and half blood status. I hated to think how he was having people killed just for blood status. 

As I walked down the hallway towards the Astronomy tower I spotted Sirius's younger brother Regulus with another Slytherin who had greasy hair and almost black eyes. I smiled at them waving a little as the greasy one scoffed before walking away as Regulus smiled at me. 

" Morning Hollows hope everything is well in Hufflepuff. A shame your not in Slytherin like your grandmother was. " My smile dropped a little.

" The hat placed me were it wanted me to be at!" I looked at the boy. His light blue eyes were showing a side of mischief in them self's before he left to go find the greasy kid. I sighed before climbing up to the tower for class seeing I had class with only one of Potters crew... And it wasn't who I thought it was going to be. 

" Mr. Black, Ms. Hollows take your seats class is about to begin!" Professor Denisco stated before starting his lecture about the moons. 

" Psst Hollows... Want me to distract him " I saw Blacks eyes holding a smirk to them but before I could answer he threw something into the center of the tower as it exploded red ink everywhere. 

" DAMMIT BLACK" I yelled as the ink got all over me and my books I saw him laughing rolling on the ground.

" Why the hell do you idiots pick on me the new girl huh? " I glared at him seething with pure rage as the professor kicks him out giving him detention with Filch for the week. 

After classes I headed straight for my dorm more pissed that I have to ask my parents to send me a set of new robes since the ink wont come out with any type of magic. Trust me we tried. I sat down pulling out my other set of robes getting ready as I saw my owl Scorch with a letter. " Oh god Isabella finally sent you back!" I snorted ruffling scorches feathers before taking him to the owlery. On my way up I noticed Remus talking to an older looking owl.

" Make sure you take this to mum and dad Snow ! I mean it or no treats when you get back!" He let the owl go as he turned around and saw me placing scorch on a raft.

" Is that one yours?" He looked at Scorch before me. 

" Yeah his name is Scorch he just got back from North America. He delivered a letter to my best friend Isabella. You see she attends Ilvermorny and they don't start back till next week. So hes tired and I need him to rest before sending my letters out to my parents. " I smiled petting him as Remus pets him too. 

" Hes a beautiful creature" He hums before leaving and I waved before reading my note from Isabella. 

REMUS POV.

I couldn't believe it I had finally talked a full sentence to the new girl. She seems nice enough to be friends with. I mean I'm friends with James, Sirius, and Peter, as well as Lily. But only thing is those four know about my " Furry little secret". What would she say if she found out i'm a monster. She'd probably never want to be my friend anyways. Especially now since Sirius covered her in red ink. You could see it in her hair. 

I walked back to the Gryffindor common room seeing James bored out of his mind using his wand to float a feather in mid air while Sirius had his hair pinned up and a quill in behind his ear. He was thinking and this wasn't a good sign. I looked around not seeing Peter which was odd.

" Hey Prongs wheres Wormtail? " James looked at me confused before he made an O face as Sirius answered for him.

" Hes in advanced Ghoul Studies right now" Sirius looked at the marauders map before putting it away. 

" Lily is in Advanced Arithmancy  right now and it looks like Louise and Marlene are at the great hall eating their hearts out, while the new girl is walking towards the Library. " He looked at James and I before smirking. 

" SO, tell me again why were going to the library to pick on Victoria?" I said to the two dunderheads in front of me as they were whispering to each other quickly.

" We just want to make sure nothing or nobody harms the new girl we must protect her remember Dumbledore told us to protect her from harm... especially now with things starting to go into motion with the " Dark Lord" James made air quotes around the name before rolling his eyes. " I just hope the ministry gets him soon before were dragged into a war!" 

" Look Moony shes reading a book on werewolf and Vampires. Maybe she's the one" Sirius smirks at me before I smack the back of his head. 

" Yeah like a girl like her would love a monster like me!"
