SPIDER Protection Guidelines:
SHN-101 is to be kept inside a standard sealed security chamber at all times. Chamber is to be furnished as a suitable living area. Subject is to be fed on a regular basis, but food must be analyzed to establish that it is of normal consistency and does not contain any objects that would assist in escape. Any personnel observing SHN-101 in the viewing area shall be inspected if they deviate from their normal behavior, if they request certain objects to give SHN-101, or if they request SHN-101 to be removed from captivity. Agents or scientists requesting to interview SHN-101 must be given a thorough psychiatric evaluation and have clearance from Director Trench.
Staff is advised to stay as far away from SHN-101 as possible and/or hide behind solid objects in the event SHN-101 escapes confinement. Hallways in the vicinity of SHN-101's chamber will be locked down and sealed off from the rest of the facility as well.
Description:
SHN-101 is a Caucasian female of German decent in her mid twenties and measuring at about 1.7 meters. Subject is average in appearance, wearing typical street clothes, having brown hair, but has unusually pale skin (skin color may be unrelated to her abilities). Common fears, such as arachnophobia and claustrophobia, have been noticed by staff and admitted by SHN-101 herself. No significant health problems are present.
The subject demonstrates what appears to be telepathy. She has been known to use this ability to her advantage, most notably using it to persuade individuals who come into contact with her. People under SHN-101's influence have been shown to disregard direct commands given to them no matter the cost, even if it means death. Once SHN-101's instructions have been fulfilled, the victim will resume normal brain activity and have no memory of being controlled by SHN-101.
SHN-101's telepathic persuasion is limited by a few factors. Individuals outside of her range of sight or behind walls cannot be affected, but persons behind glass or other transparent materials can be controlled as long as SHN-101 sees them. Observations have been made that SHN-101 requires more concentration to perform some tasks, such as controlling targets from farther distances, controlling multiple targets, or a combination of both. This puts a significant strain on SHN-101, and continual focus on the targets over time will physically drain her. If SHN-101 loses focus because of this, any person under SHN-101's influence will be freed.
Addendum #1:
SHN-27 is not affected by SHN-101's telepathic abilities. This may be due to SHN-27's inorganic composition. Request for using SHN-27 as part of SHN-101 protection guidelines is pending.
Addendum #2:
It has been discovered recently that SHN-101 can read the thoughts of other individuals. The exact extent and limitations of this ability is unknown. As such, personnel are advised to avoid thinking about SHN-101, particularly unpleasant thoughts, in the presence of SHN-101 in order to prevent hostility and murderous tendencies from the subject.
Looks like she can read minds, too. Shit. Guess we all have to thank Agent Caleb for finding that out, even if she made a mess out of him later.
