I woke up the next morning snuggled up in Chris' arms.
Chris-Hey. Good morning.
Jessie-Hi. Morning.
Chris-I want something to eat but I don't know what. Do you wanna go out with me?
Jessie-What!?
Chris-To find something to eat smart one.
Jessie-Sorry.(blushing)Yeah. I kind of want waffles or pancakes.
Chris-IHOP or Waffle House?
Jessie-I chose the food, you choose the place.
Chris-Um...IHOP.
Jessie-Let's go.(hopping out of bed)
Chris-A little help here.
Jessie-Oh sorry.
I slowly got him up and dressed. When I saw a tattoo with "Jessie" printed on his neck.
Jessie-WHAT IS THAT?
Chris-Why are you yelling?
Jessie-Is that my name..on your neck? When? Why?
Chris-I was drunk, and I woke up with your name on me and my name on Jennifer. She was pissed.off.
It wasn't the first screw up though.
Jessie-Oh gosh. What was- Do I wanna know?
Chris-No. But, you need to.
Jessie-What was it.?
Chris-You know once, me and Jen were...you know..and when we did..
Jessie-YOU DIDN'T!
Chris-Yep. It.Was.Bad.
Jessie-YOU CALLED HER ME!?
Chris-It was an accident.
Jessie-We're going to Waffle House, and I am driving.
Chris-No fair!
Jessie-It's your punishment for your "mistake".

We pulled up to the Waffle House and I helped him out of the car and we walking in..when we saw Jennifer.
Jessie-Do you want to leave?
Chris-Nah, I'm good.
Jessie-Are you sure?
Chris-I'm 100% positive. Let's eat.
We actually sat there and laughed for a minute.
Jennifer-Jessie! Hey! This is-
Jessie-Tommy Jameson?!
Tommy-Jessica!(hugging Jessie) How long has it been?
Jessie-At least 5 years.
Tommy-Five years too long.
Jessie-Oh man, tell me about it.
Chris couldn't have been more tense. His fists were clenched. He knew Tommy. Us three went to school together. I have had a crush on him since..middle school? He is sooo cute now. Cuter than before.
Chris-TOMMY! Good to see you.
Jennifer-You two know each other?

Tommy grabbed my hand.

Tommy-May I talk with you?
Jessie-Sure, what's up?
Tommy-I don't want any problems between me and you or me and Chris. Should we keep our distance?
Jessie-No, don't worry about Chris. He's just being him.(smiling)
Tommy-(smirking)You have changed..It's good though. I like the new you.
Jessie-Not really new, just improved.(laughing)

Jessie-Yeah! That would be great.

Jessie-You remembered?
Tommy-Of course.I'll call you.(he walked out smiling)
Chris-What was that?!
Jessie-GOD! You scared me.
Chris-Wow. You were daydreaming that much.
Sami-Hey guys! J, guess who I saw outside!?!
Jessie-Tommy from high school?
Sami-Tom- Wait, how did you know?
Jessie-I have his number.
Nikki-You go girl!
Chris-I can't believe this.
Nikki-Jealous much?
Chris-No!
Jessie-You wanna sit with us?
Chris-Great. More Tommy talk.
Jessie-If you don't shut up, I will punch you directly in your wounded spot in your chest.

Is he making me pay for the food? That jealous jerk-face.

Jessie-Thanks you guys. I'm sorry I gotta go.
I'm not in "l.o.v.e". I can't be. He has a girlfriend, my ex's ex.
I don't care what Chris says. I am still friends with Tommy.
I jumped in the car.

Jennifer-Hey. It's Jen... Um, one quick question. Have Tommy and Jessie ever been together?
Chris-They've never dated, but they obviously like each other.
Jennifer- You mean LIKED. With -ed on the end.

Jennifer-He's been talking about her since we left. He has been asking me how us three knew each other..I'm not telling him that.

I helped Chris out the car slowly. He went from the car to the house and got right back on the phone.
Well, I promised Tommy I'd call him back.

Tommy-Hello?
Jessie-Hey, it's J. What's up.
Tommy-Nothing much actually. I am on the couch while Jennifer's rambling on the phone for the past 35 minutes.
Jessie-Oh...you know she's talking to right?
Tommy-Chris? Yeah. What's going on with them two?

I took him upstairs into my room with Sam and Nik.
Tommy-Hi, ladies.
Nikki and Sami-(giggling)Hi Tommy.
Jessie-So, make yourself comfortable.
He sat face to face with me.
Jessie-All right. Where do I start? Um, Jennifer and Chris got together. Well, me and Chris got together, and we dated for a while. Then, Chris cheated on me..with Jennifer about a month ago. They dated for a few months. Then, yesterday or the day before I called Jennifer from Chris's phone because he wanted to talk and then you picked up.
Tommy-Chris's name wasn't in the phone. It came up as "Work".
Jessie-Oh. Anyway, Chris broke off the relationship after that. How long have you and her been dating?
Tommy-6 months.
Sami-OMG. So, Jennifer cheated on you with Chris?
Tommy-I guess so.
Jessie-I'm sorry, T.(holding his hand) Are you okay?
Tommy-Yeah. I'm fine. I'm gonna go talk to-

Jessie-Tommy asked about you two..and I told him everything. Listen, she cheated on him with you. Not the other way around. They dated for 6 months.
Chris-What about the call at the hospital?
Jessie-Your name wasn't "Chris" in the phone, it was "Work".

(Tommy and Jennifer walk out of the room)
Jennifer-I'm leaving.(teary eyed)
Tommy-Ok.
Jessie-T, let's talk.(i pulled him over to a different room) What happened?
Tommy-That's what happens when girls like money.
Jessie-That's not true. I never even knew that you were rich until our junior prom night.
Tommy-I know. I still have something I wanna show you.
He reached in his pocket and pulled out a picture of us in middle school with my broken charm bracelet in a small baggy. On the back of the picture, it said L.O.V.E. J.
Jessie-You kept this for all of these years? Oh my gosh.
Tommy-I know.
Jessie-Wow.Get over here. (hugging him)
Tommy-I love you.
Jessie-I love you too.
It slipped out of my mouth...and I meant it.
Tommy-(pulling back)I don't mean like a friend, I want more than that.
Jessie-Me too.
We both leaned in to kiss each other..Our lips were centimeters apart.
Chris-Wow, so much for no love.
Chris stormed out so fast. I literally ran out after him.
Jessie-WAIT!
Chris-WHY? WHAT'S THE POINT OF TALKING TO ME?! GO AND RUN BACK TO YOUR LITTLE BOYFRIEND!
Jessie-Look, I'm sorry. I was caught up in the moment. You know how close Tommy and I were before you decided to act out.(walking away)
Chris-You know what, you are such a hoe.
Jessie-Excuse me?
Chris-Me, then Zach, now Tommy. I'm surprised your not preg-
Jessie-(slapping him)What right do you have to tell me that!?!?! I'M SURELY NOT THE ONE WHO WAS SCREWING AROUND WITH TWO WOMEN AT THE SAME TIME! THAT WAS YOU! YOU HAVE DONE SO MANY THINGS THAT HAVE HURT ME. I AM GOING ALL THE WAY BACK TO MIDDLE SCHOOL!!! YOU HAVE QUITE THE LONG LIST BUDDY! YOU KNOW WHO'S BEEN THERE FOR ME? TOMMY! AND AS MUCH AS I HELPED YOU LATELY!?!?! WOW. I'm done Chris.
