It's that time! Mating Season!

Chapter 12

Lyon's POV:

I walk next to Chelia, Wendy and Charle as we make our way to the train station to meet up with everyone else.

"Hey Lyon, does the old hag know what were doing?" Chelia asks as she and Wendy skip along next to me. "Yeah. At least I hope she does, when I told her she was kinda busy spinning Toby." I answer.

"Ok, I just don't want to be spun..." She trails off and shudders at the thought.

We reach the train station and see that everyone is already there and waiting. Gray snickers as we walk up. "What's so funny?" I ask.

"I see your late, as always." He laughs. I send a glare his way, and Natsu glares at me. I throw my hands up in surrender. Weird, I thought Gray was the seme of their relationship? I decide to point this out, in an embarrassing way of course.

"Who tops in your relationship, I mean, I thought you were a sub, why are you so protective all the sudden?" I ask Natsu.

They both tense up and turn red. I hold back a laugh. "W-well, I am, but I-I'm a slayer s-so I can be top if I want." Natsu defies and everyone holds back a laugh.

"Natsu, you know that's not true." Erza adds, causing everyone to let out the laughs they were currently holding in. 

Natsu huffs and crosses his arms, facing Gray's chest. I sigh and sling my bag onto my shoulder as we all begin boarding the train.

I look at the couple in sadness. Sometimes I wish this ended differently.

I think back to when Gray and I were like this. When we were kids.

*Flashback*

Third Person POV:

Ur stared at her two students, a small smile rest upon her lips. The two boys were snuggling together as the cold winter air blew through the cabin.

Both shirtless and using the others body heat for warmth. Lyon and Gray became very close after Ur and the white haired boy saved him on that fateful day. Deliora became Gray's biggest enemy and biggest fear that day.

Lyon promised himself that he'd help Gray grow stronger with his magic so that one day he could avenge his family and everyone else who'd suffered the wrath of that terrible demon.

After Ur's death, Lyon blamed Gray, and left him all alone. He begun thinking before trying to unfreeze Deliora, that if he hadn't left, maybe, just maybe, things could've been different.

Back to present time:

Lyon' POV:

Maybe if I hadn't blamed him and left him alone, then maybe, things would've been different. Sadly, everything's that's happened is irreversible, so I don't even have a chance anymore.

Maybe, this is how it would have ended up anyway, maybe I'm meant to be with someone else. Who knows...

Time skip: 1 hour later

Lucy's POV:

I sat in a car with Gray, Natsu, Erza, Juvia and Happy as we made our way to the resort. I was working on some plot development for my novel as Natsu tried to read over my shoulder. Key word 'tried,' he kept asking me what it said every few words. I can't blame him, I mean, I know Erza "tutored" him but I doubt he retained all of it, and I'm using larger words than his brain can probably handle. No offense to him of course.

"Hey Luce, what does 'decession' mean?" He asks, pronouncing the word correctly for once. I smile and turn my head towards him, "It means a departure, I just used it to sound more sophiscated, since the character comes from a rich, and well, sophiscated family." I reply and he nods in understanding.

"How much more do you have left to write Lucy?" Erza asks, petting Happy as he sleeps.

"Not much, maybe I'll finish on the trip, the real reason I brought it was because I thought maybe I'd get some sort of inspiration. I don't know, I'm not sure I really like the plot line to be honest." I explained. She nods her head and wishes me luck.

"Hey Luce?"

"Yes Natsu?"

"Can we, um, talk in private, please?" He asks quietly and I see Gray look at him in surprise.

"Uhh, sure."  I reply and he drags me from the seat and down the train car to the dining car. As we make our way I hear Gray growl and call out Natsu's name.

He sits me in a seat and sighs. "What is it you need to talk about Natsu?" I ask and smiles.

"So when we get to the resort, I want you to help me plan something."

A/n: Hey lovely little peeps, {Idk}, anywho, sorry about such a late update, school is my excuse, it is horrible, so I try my hardest to get you a chapter out!

I know A LOT has happened within the last bunch of chapters, but everything should smooth out and calm down. I know I have some more ships and stuff I plan to add and probably a lot of other characters I'm going to bring in. So be mindful that you may meet a couple of characters who are new and you will come to hate, or maybe relate to, who knows. Anyway...
