Namjoon's office wasn't what Nae-un had expected, not that she was exactly sure what she WAS expecting either. There where shelves lined with books and papers with names, locations, dates and amounts of money listed in neat handwriting were spread across the desk in a sort of organised mess. At first glance it looked more like a normal businessman's study than the center of operation for a gang. But the more Nae-un looked, the more she noticed small little details in the room that alluded to it's actual purpose. There was a gun peeping out from behind a stack of folders and paper, there were multiple names highlighted in red with the names of members written next to them. That in itself wasn't particularly unsettling but when Nae-un thought back to the incident that had landed her there in the first place she felt a shudder down her spine thinking about what would happen to those people whose names where highlighted.
Namjoon spoke calmly to her "You wanted to speak with me about something?" "Ummm Y-yes. I want to suggest that I put a magic cancelling glyph in here, if you'd let me" Nae-un cursed herself for stammering and for sounding so weak and unconfident. "And why exactly should I let you do that?" Nae-un took a deep breath, this was her chance to convince him and make sleeping at night a little easier for herself.
// ok Nae-un this is your chance. You need to appeal to his best interests, make it clear that he will benefit from letting you do this......be strong HWAITING! //
"If I put a magic cancelling glyph in here I wouldn't be able to do magic in the area around it while its active, no one would be. That means you wouldn't have to watch me all the time or tie me up. I would still be able to do magic for you when you need me to, all you'd need to do is deactivate the glyph while I work" Nae-un paused to look at Namjoon's face, he didn't seem fully convinced so she went on, thinking of things to convince him off the top of her head. "I'm sure you all have better things to be doing than watching me all day. Plus the cable ties are starting to pull the muscles in my wrists, if that keeps up I won't be able to do magic properly" Namjoon nodded, he seemed to be considering it but still looked a little unsure "Quick question, how does deactivating the glyph work exactly?" "The original caster just has to touch it. But I can easily transfer domain over it to you, once I do that I have no control over it, I wouldn't be able to activate or deactivate it even if I tried" "one last question. How would you transfer domain over the glyph to us?" "It's simple, you just put a drop of your blood on a specific part of the glyph and it will immediately recognise you as it's master" "Alright then. You can draw it in the main area, right away" Nae-un nodded eagerly. She could barely suppress her victorious smile as she hurried out of the office to get her notes from her room.
Nae-un grabbed her book and chalk from the desk and scurried out into the main area of the hideout. The others were lounging on the couches going about their business, they all looked at Nae-un with a mixture of amusement and bafflement. They turned to Namjoon, who had just stepped out of his office. "What's up with her?" Jin asked. Namjoon smiled slightly and said "Hey don't look at me, I didn't know she'd be this happy about it" "But what is she doing hyung?" Jungkook, asked impatiently, he had never seen Nae-un act like this so he was curious about the cause of her unusual behaviour "She's drawing a magic cancelling glyph, so we don't have to watch her all day or tie her up in the evenings" "And you're sure that's a good idea?" Yoongi asked, his voice was laced with more skepticism than usual. Before anybody could say anything else Nae-un, who hadn't been paying attention to their conversation at all said "I've finished drawing it, we can transfer domain now"
Namjoon nodded, ignoring the confusion painted across each of the other members' faces "Are you able to give domain to more than one person?" "Yeah, it's unlimited as long as I do it right" Nae-un paused and then added "there is a higher risk of the glyph destabilising if there are over ten masters assigned to the glyph at one time though" she decided it was better to be honest with them, she knew it wouldn't be a good idea to let them think magic had no consequences or couldn't go horrifically wrong. If Namjoon didn't know the risks it could cause trouble in the future, not just for her and the other members but potentially anyone within a 1km radius of them. In the end she didn't have to worry, Namjoon just wanted all the members to have domain over the glyph.
