||TWENTY-FIVE||

BEAM POV

    I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. The sun was shining through the window and down onto my face.

    I sniffed the air. I smelled Khao Tom. I smiled and stood up. I picked up Forth's shirt and put it on.

    When I walked into the kitchen, Forth was standing at the stove, cooking breakfast. I smiled and walked to stand next to him.

    “It smells good.” I said. Forth looked at me and smiled.

    “You’re awake.” He said. I laughed and nodded.

    “Well, when I wake up alone it's hard to go back to sleep.” I said hugging his waist. Forth sighed and hugged me back.

    “Sorry. I just wanted to make you something to eat.” He said. I smiled and shook my head.

    “It’s okay.” I said. After I spoke, a comfortable silence fell over us. My mind began to wonder.

It was crazy to think that this is where I was now.

    Just two months ago, I was sleeping with a different girl every night.

    When Forth and I had sex that night it was supposed to only happen once. Something about him just drew me in.

    I admit, I was, and still am, scared of the future. I don’t want to fall hard for him, but I can’t stop myself.

    Waking up in the morning, having Forth beside me, or in the kitchen cooking, was a great feeling. I wanted this to last forever.

    “Be my boyfriend.” Forth said. I looked up at him surprised.

    “What?” I asked. Forth smiled and caressed my cheek.

    “Be my boyfriend.” He repeated. I smiled and nodded. Forth leaned down and kissed my lips softly. When he pulled back I laughed.

    “Don’t burn my food.” I said pointing at the stove. Forth laughed and shook his head, but turned back around to the stove.

    After eating breakfast, we got ready for school. We ran by Forth's dorm so he could change before heading to the school.

    I dropped Forth off at the engineering faculty before heading to the medical faculty. When I arrived, Pha and Kit were sitting there looking at their notes.

    When I sat down, they both looked up at me.

    “Cute hickeys.” Pha said smiling. I chuckled and used my hand to cover my neck.

    “So, where's your boyfriend?” Kit asked looking around.

    “He had this S.O.T.U.S thing this morning, so I had to drop him off at the engineering faculty.” I said with a sigh. Is it normal to miss him this much?

    Pha and Kit laughed and looked at each other.

    “So, you admit he’s your boyfriend.” Pha said. I laughed and nodded.

    “He asked me this morning.” I told them.

    Pha and Kit both stood up and started clapping.

    I laughed and pulled than both back down to their seats.

    “Shut up.” I said looking away. All that time spent teasing them about Yo and Ming was really gonna come back to bite me in the ass.

    I sighed remembering that I have to go to Lay’s wedding this weekend.

    I want Forth to go, I just don't know how to ask him.

    ‘Hey, my loving new boyfriend, I was wondering if you would accompany to the wedding of my ex girlfriend.’

    “What’s wrong?” Pha asked. I sighed again and laid my head down on my arms.

   “Lay is getting married, and she asked me to go to her wedding. She asked me if I had anyone I could bring. I told her yes, but that was before me and Forth were even anything. Now, I don’t know if he would actually be okay with going.” I explained before taking a deep breath. Pha sighed and patted my shoulder.

    “Sorry, bud. You’re gonna have to figure yourself out of this one. It’s time for class.” He said standing up. Kit patted my shoulder and followed Pha.

    I gathered my things and tagged along slowly behind them.

FORTH POV

    I sighed and sat down against the wall.

    “Hey, you look tired.” Cake said coming to sit next to me. I laughed and nodded. Beam and I had a long night.

    “Yeah.” I said nodding my head. Cake laughed.

    “You can sleep if you want. My lap is always open.” She said smiling wide. I chuckled and shook my head.

    “So’s my boyfriends.” I said. Cake’s mouth dropped open.

    “Okay, wow. This is awkward. The last I heard you weren’t with anyone and weren’t looking.” She said embarrassed. I smiled and patted her arm.

    “Don’t be embarrassed. It’s okay. And I wasn’t looking. I just found him.” I said. Cake smiled wide and nodded.

    “Well, I hope to meet him one day. Bring him to the S.O.T.U.S ceremony this weekend.” She suggested. I smiled and nodded my head. It was a good idea.

    “I think i might.” I said. She smiled and nodded.

    “Good.” She said. “I got to go and finish hanging stuff up. I’ll talk to you later.” She said patting my shoulder and standing up.

    I looked down at my watch and sighed.

    I still had twenty minutes till class. I set a timer on my phone and laid down to sleep.

    It wasn’t long before I was sent to dreamland.

    After class ended, I waited by the engineering canteen for Beam. His class ended the same time as mine.

    I still had a few minutes to rest before he got here.

    I laid down on the picnic table and covered my eyes to block out the sun. I didn’t mean to, but I fell asleep again.

    A little while later, I felt something soft touch my lips.

    I opened my eyes slowly and saw Beam’s looking back at me. I smiled.

    “Did you just kiss me?” I asked. Beam laughed, not moving from over me.

    “I don’t know. Did I?” He answered, shrugging his shoulders. I smiled wider.

    “I don’t know either, but I’m about to kiss you.” I said.

    I lifted my head up and little and pressed my lips to his. I grabbed the back of his head and held him in place for a moment, enjoying the taste of his lips.

    When I pulled back, Beam was smiling wide. I smiled back at him. He lifted up, giving me room to sit up.

    “I could get used to being woken up like that.” I said laughing. Beam laughed and smacked my leg playfully.
