||TWENTY-ONE||

FORTH POV

    When I woke up, I felt warm arms wrapped around me.

    I turned a little and seen Beam sleeping peacefully. I smiled and turned all the way to lay on my side, facing him.

    I caressed his cheek with my hand and smiled.

    I confessed last night that I liked him. It felt weird that I said it out loud, but I donn’t regret it.

    Beam slowly opened his eyes. He smiled before moving closer.

    “You need to take medicine.” He said pointing to the nightstand.

    I sighed and leaned over to grab it.

    I took one of the pills and laid back down. Beam groaned and sat up.

    “No.” I said pulling him back down. He laughed.

    “I just need to grab the thermometer.” He said sitting back up. He took my temperature. When he looked at it he tilted his head. “Huh. Your fever's gone. It was just at a 38 last night.” He said. I smiled and pulled him back down.

    “That's because I had you.” I said. Beam laughed and snuggled into my arms.

    “You still have to take medicine. I don’t want it coming back.” He said. I chuckled and nodded.

    A comfortable silence fell over the room. When Beam spoke it was soft.

    “I never told you last night.” He said.

    “Told me what?” I asked. Beam sighed and looked up at me.

    “I like you too.” He admitted. I smiled and leaned down to kiss him.

    I meant the kiss to be short and sweet, but Beam wrapped his hands around my neck.

    He pushed me back and climbed on top of me. He broke our kiss and buried his face in my neck.

    “Beam?” I asked. I heard him sigh.

    “I like you so much.” He said. “I don’t understand why. I’ve never felt like this about a guy before. I never felt like this since my last girlfriend. After what I went through with her, I didn’t think I was ever gonna be like this again. You were only supposed to be a one night stand, but I couldn’t stay away. I felt so jealous seeing you with Chai and anyone else. I wanted this to go away, because I thought you wouldn’t feel the same. When I realized it wasn’t gonna go away, I wanted to tell you so many times. There was just never any time. And when you didn’t message me back I actually cried. You’ve changed me Forth, and that scares me.” He confessed.

    I didn’t know what to say.

    Beam had just confessed practically everything to me. It was only right for me to do the same thing.

    “It scares me too.” I said. I wrapped my arms around his back. “I never date anyone. In fact I haven’t dated anyone since middle school. These feelings I have for you are beyond crazy. I miss you all the time. I want to see you all the time. I think about you all the time.” I confessed. “I love you.” I said. I hadn’t even planned to say it but I did. Beam was silent.

    A few moments later I felt him sucking on my neck. I laughed and turned my head to give him better access.

    “Beam.” I said. I felt him smile against my skin.

    He trailed kisses down my neck to my chest. I let out a small moan.

    “Wee woo. Wee woo. Better be decent.” Pha yelled opening the door. Beam jumped off me and groaned.

    “How did you get in?” He asked. “I locked the door when you left.” Pha shrugged and held up a key.

    “I took it before I left.” He said setting it on the table. Beam grained and laid back down. “Nice hickey.” He said pointing to my neck.

    “Thanks.” I said smiling.

    “I guess you guys aren’t going to school.” Pha said. Beam nodded.

    “Forth’s fever is down but I don’t want to take the chance of it coming back up. I gave him medicine and now he needs to rest.” Beam said wrapping his arm around me. Pha laughed and nodded.

    “Okay. I’ll right notes for you.” He said before leaving.

    “I swear, he probably would have sat there and watched us have sex.” Beam said.

    I laughed and nodded. I kissed his forehead and pulled him to my chest.

    He snuggled in and kissed my neck before sighing deeply. “I love you too.” He said. I smiled and closed my eyes.

BEAM POV

    When I woke up, Forth was nowhere to be seen. I looked over at the night stand and seen a piece of paper.

    Beam, I went to get breakfast. I didn’t want to wake you up, because i know you would scold me. I love you and i’ll be back soon. Love, Forth.

    I laughed and threw the paper in the trash can.

    A few moments later Forth walked through the door holding a bag of food. He stopped when he realized I was awake.

    “H-Hey.” He said setting the food on table and opening the bag. I laughed and stood up.

    “I thought I told you to stay in bed.” I said standing up. Forth chuckled nervously.

    “I thought you might be hungry. So, I went out to get you something to eat.”

     I walked over to him and wrapped my hands around his waist.

    “I could have gotten something to eat when I woke up, or you could have made something that was already in the kitchen. Why did you have to go out?” I asked. Forth sighed.

    “Okay, I’m telling you this so you don’t get upset when you find out, or think that I did something.” He said before looking me straight in the eye. “I went to see Chai.” He admitted. I scoffed and dropped my hands from his waist and turned around. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into a back hug.

    “Why?” I ask biterally. Forth buried his face in my neck, kissing it.

    “He called me this morning and asked if I wanted to go out to eat. I went to tell him I already have someone.” He said kissing my neck again.

    I turn in his arms and wrap my arms around his neck.

    “That had better be all.” I said. Forth laughs and nods

    “It is. I promise.”
