― BEING THE DAUGHTER OF the Wilson Fisk had more downsides than positives. Elizabeth had lived her entire life plagued by her father's actions. There had been a time when she respected him and had truly believed that he was doing the Lord's work but soon, that devotion had faded as she began to see Wilson Fisk for who he was. A cold-blooded monster who didn't mind spilling blood to get what he wanted.
She never truly felt as though she hated him until she found out her true parentage. All of her life, Liz had felt like there was something that she was missing. She didn't know what it was but she felt her loss deeply. Elizabeth had only ever asked Wilson Fisk who her mother was once when she was ten years old. Her father had told her a story about how she was a singer that he'd met a bar and they'd gotten married secretly; a rushed affair and the product of their union was Liz. Wilson Fisk had told Elizabeth that her mother was dead but he'd never told her the truth.
Her real father was a politician that Wilson Fisk had worked with and when the man had refused to cooperate with him and threatened to involve the authorities, Fisk had killed him in cold blood and had ordered his wife to be killed as well. But he hadn't realized until then that his partner had a daughter. One year old girl with dark curls and beautiful green eyes. A baby girl who would never see her parents again.
Consumed by guilt, Wilson had taken young Elizabeth as his own daughter and had raised her. He'd protected her and kept her far away from the life that he led in hopes that someday she would understand. But Elizabeth Fisk finally knew the truth and she wanted revenge.
First Step: Finding Daredevil
- ⎰ NOTES.⎱ ― This plot will obviously have romance but it will also have a lot of deeper things. Family issues. Despite everything, she does love Wilson Fisk because for a long time in her life, he was the only family she had. But when she finds out about how he really found her, she's hurt and she acts impulsively consumed by rage. She doesn't want to kill him because she doesn't think she can stomach it but she wants him to pay and she wants to stop him. Since she knows her father's feud with Matt, she tries to find Daredevil and help him out.
