― JULIETTE DIAMOND KNEW TONY Stark more than she would have liked to. The two had been partners in college, both pairing up with the other because of their intellect and accomplishments. Somewhere along the way, they became casual, romantic partners with no strings attached because they both knew that their lives would pull them apart eventually. In the end, it did. Tony Stark inherited his father's company, Stark Industries and Juliette created Diamond Corp.
The two companieswere the ultimate rivals. Tony and Juliette were constantly at each other's throats and they were constantly taking shots at each other, both wanting to outshine the other. To be the only one, to be the best. Behind all of that anger, though, there was professional envy and respect as well as they both admired the other for their brains and they figured that if the situation was different, they could have even been together. But alas, that was not the way their world was.
Until a criminal stole two valuable pieces of tech from each of their companies to create a machine that could be the unravelling of the world as they knew it and they're forced to work together to save the world, all while ignoring their feelings for each other.
