Chapter 2. N.E.S.T

Sideswipe room^

Sideswipe has been so inpatient. He waited for me to be done. Judy allowed me to take a shower and get dressed in some clothes. They're way too big for me, but Sideswipe told me he would go shopping with me. I think it's really sweet, even though I am a little bit shy about wasting his money on me.

Sideswipe looked up as I walked back into the living room. "So, from everything you could take from your 'dimension' you took these?" He asked, holding up the teddy bears. They're the only thing I had from home. I gave a small nod "wow... well, they're cute," he stated, getting up and handed them to me.
"I would love to show you the base. I have a room, you can stay there," he said, taking my hand. "Can I leave now?" Sideswipe wined. I sighed softly and thanked each Witwicky for their hospitality. "Now you're not going to get rid of him anymore," Sam whispered in my ear. I chuckled little before Sideswipe dragged me towards his fancy Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 2009 and opened his door for me.

"I've always wanted to have a room mate..." he stated. "Or a female teen around the base," he added. "Besides the other young mechs, we don't have teens around the base and soldier get annoyed with me easily," he rambled out. "You're not much of talker, huh."
"I am... it's just~ last night I was still at home and now I somehow ended up here in bayverse and I don't want to bomb you with questions," I said. "I like talking..."
I chuckled "I know you do..."

"I have a lot of questions too... so what about, we ask each other questions. You can start and I'll answer then I can ask a question," he said. I gave a small nod "fair enough..."
"Hmm, how long are you on earth?"
"7 years... last Sunday it was seven years," he corrected. "How old are you?"
"18... when was the last time you got grounded?"

Sideswipe was quiet before he smirked "2 days ago, I was allowed to leave the base again, I pulled a prank on someone annoying and I got grounded for like 2 weeks. I had to do boring chores," he said. "When was the last time you got grounded!" He asked. "I never got grounded," I honestly said.
"Really?!... you never got yourself into trouble?" He asked. I shook my head. "Nah, not really," I replied. "Is your brother really that arrogant?" I asked. Sideswipe laughed at that "you've no idea! He's a selfish and spoiled brat... and a killer but I love him," Sideswipe chuckled.

"Do you have siblings?"
"Two you get brothers and two stepsisters," I replied. "Any pets?" He added. "Three cats, Wolf, Lily and Jazz... wolf and Lily are sacred Birman and Jazz is my Ocicat. Then we have our dog, Lika, 30 salt water aquarium fishes, and 7 pound fish," I said.
"Wow... I've always wanted to have pets, but Prime doesn't allow me," he said, sighing a little. "How was Cybertron like?"

"A beautiful planet with vibrant cities, markets... similar to human cities but slightly different," he said. "War ruined everything..." he sighed. "It's fine now, you know we have earth as our new home planet... I start to settle here perfectly. I am just waiting for my brother..." he stated.

"... and I have always wanted to have a best friend,"

I smiled "People don't listen to me if I ramble out about games, or new updates for specific games. They think I am too busy and occupied with stupid things. They think I am here with only goal and that's to defeat the Decepticons but they forget I am a teen," he sulked.

"Be happy you don't have homework, I rather have your problem then making homework," I said. "Hmm, True," he replied. Sideswipe drove through the gates, driving into the Autobot hanger. "I'll show you my room first, then you can meet the others, okay?" He asked. I gave a small room "I really want to show you where you can sleep! I've always wanted to have a roommate. I had my twin, and now I have you," he chirped, hopping out.
He took my hand while dragging me through the maze looking halls and we ended up in a large hall. The very last room was his. Room 20034.

He typed his code and let me in. Like I predicted, his room was kind of a mess. Clothes were everywhere just as some guns, but the room itself is pretty cozy. With a wooden bunk bed, lots of shelves and were filled with books, games and drawing supplies. Drawers, a white small bureau with his computer.
The beds are funny, the bed on the floor is a double bed and the bed above it is a single bed, having curtains for privacy. You could close it on each side. "It's nice, cozy," I replied, turning towards Sideswipe. "I know right... I am not used to share a room with a female, but I'll try my best to keep it clean," he said. I smiled.

"You can have the upper bed if you'd like,"
"That's great, thanks..."

Sideswipe took the two teddy bears I was still holding, placing them on the upper bed. "Are you a morning person?" I asked. "Uhm... not really," he replied sheepishly. "Are you up early?" He asked. "Sometimes yes... mostly when I had to get up for school," I replied. He seemed to be relieved. "Great! Ratchet says it's because teens sleep a lot... I don't know if it's true or not, but I am glad I don't have to get up early," he said.

"Actually, it's kinda true. Depends on the person as well, but teens are... well, teens," I said, shrugging. "My brother used to be awake each day at six o'clock in the morning, sometimes even earlier and now he wakes up at eleven O'clock..."
"That's me... sorry," he apologized. I chuckled and waved my hand "I am used to it," I said. "Anyways, what about me giving you a tour and introduce you to everyone?" He asked. I started smiling and nodded. "That sounds great!"
"After that, we go the mall, get you some proper clothes," he said.

"I have no money..."
"I have..." he said, walking over to the door. "I don't want to waste your money on me," I said shyly. He huffed and waved his hand. "My life, my choice..." he stated firmly. "Let's go!"

He grabbed my hand and dragged me with him...
