It was around five o'clock and I couldn't sleep anymore. There's nothing more annoying than not being able to fall asleep while you're tired and want to sleep. I slid out of bed and landed agile on the ground. Sideswipe was still asleep. I used the bathroom and crawled in bed next to him.

He sucked in a breath and opened one eye. "What are you doing?" He muttered. I snuggled into him and shut my eyes. "I can't sleep..." he hummed and grabbed me, wrapping his leg over my hip and arm around my waist. I fell asleep eventually and woke up with Sideswipe rested his head on my chest.

I rubbed his head and rubbed over his shoulders and back. He uttered a low growl and nuzzled in my neck. "Sideswipe..." I cooed. He opened his eyes and looked at me. "Ugh!" He laid his head back down. For a while we laid like this. I softly massaged his back, which he seemed to enjoy clearly. "What?" I purred. "Lower..." I tried to reach the right spot, but wasn't in the right position.

Sides moved away from me and removed his shirt, laying on his back and looked over his shoulder. I moved as well and sat upon him, rubbing his back and shoulders. "That's good!" He purred in delight. I giggled and rolled my eyes. "Lower..."

I moved my hand over his spine to his lower back. A moan slipped from his lips and he wiggled a little. "That's the right spot?" I teased. He lazily hummed and and sucked in a breath again, relaxing.

I stopped after fifteen minutes and we started to dress up and head for the cafeteria. Sideswipe still wasn't fully awake and despite my menstruation, just looking at Sideswipe made me so happy and excited. "What are we gonna do today?" He jolted a little as I moved around. "Why do excited? Can you calm down?" He asked.

I hugged him tightly. "Sure, but what are we going to do today?" I asked. He shrugged and halted, looking in the reflection of a glass door while fixing his hair. "Sideswipe!" I complained,— tugging on his arm. "Okay, okay!"

I grabbed his hand and dragged him with me. "You're such a bad femme... you know that?" He asked. "Why? Because I am excited to spend my day with you?" I asked. He rolled his eyes, "it's too early to he this excited and despite that..." he said in a matter of fact tone. "I have a lot of work to do today..."

I frowned. "What? Like what?" I asked. "In about an hour, there's a debriefing. Prime has to say something. Then I have to give a training session, multiple exactly because Ironhide is out. Then I have to pick up Annabel from school, check-up around the evening. I think I'll be with you around ten AM if not later."

My face dropped immediately, "what?" He shrugged and settled down with some food. "I have been with you for days..." he trailed off. "It's fine. You have duties and I het that," I said, flashing him a smile. He gave a small nod and after breakfast he perked my cheek, hugged me and left.

I was all alone today. Everyone was busy, especially the Autobots. So, I spend my day exploring and entertaining myself in Sides's room. It was around 5 O'clock I got bored and left my room. I took a few turns to get a snack in the cafeteria and I bumped into a soldier.

Nothing new, happens all day. These guys don't watch where they are walking, but this time I earned a quite hard punch in my guts. I coughed and collapsed against the wall. I whimpered and looked up, shivering a little. He didn't stop there, he kept hitting me, kicking me until I lost consciousness.

Waking up, pain immediately overwhelmed me. I laid still for a brief second. This guy really took his anger and frustration out on me. Blood dripped from my body and I wasn't too sure where it was coming from. Everything was painful.

I was barely able to walk, my knee on my right leg was swollen badly. I started limping and made it back. Despite the pain, I felt embarrassed this happened to me. I got shot when I first got here and now I got beaten up. Sideswipe already had a busy day and I am sure he doesn't want to be faced with this problem as well. My body was shaking from shock and breathing was so painful. In fact, every moment was painful.

I felt miserable to say at least. To prevent Sideswipe of seeing me in this horrible state after a long day, I changed and climbed in bed which wasn't without struggles. My knee didn't seem to cooperate at all. Once settled, I shut the lights and curled up. It smoothed some of my pain, but I was still in shock.

I closed my eyes and nearly fell asleep as the door open. Sideswipe quietly walked in and shut the door. He changed as well before standing on his bed to reach me,— pressing a kiss on my cheek and covered me. I just pretended to be asleep but was so happy with this small gesture of love and affection. "Goodnight princess..." he murmured near my ear before laying below me in the double bed.

The next morning, I felt even worse then the other day. With a racing heart, I tried to get comfortable. Slowly, I tried to climb out of bed and land quietly on the ground, but I was so woozy I collapsed and fell. I uttered a scream.

Sideswipe jolted and nearly hit his head. "Sweetspark, are you okay?" He hopped out of bed and grabbed me only to be welcomed of them sight something was horribly wrong. "What happened to you? Skylar what happened?" He exclaimed. He picked me up and sat me down on the couch.

I tried to say something but nothing came out of my mouth. Sideswipe had a worried frown over his face. "You're in shock... just lay down for a moment." He gently pushed me down and caressed my cheek. "What did you do overnight, sweetspark? Tell me what happened," he insisted. "A soldier. He just started beating me..."

He clenched his teeth and pressed another kiss on my forehead. "It's going to be alright. I'll have a quick look, okay?" He asked. I nodded and he lifted my shirt to have a better look at my belly. "Really blue... he really got you, huh?" He asked. I nodded as he moved over to my leg. I flinched as he touched it lightly. "Looks so... strange. I mean... there's this part sticking out," he said, pointing at it.

"It really hurt."

He sighed and met my blue eyes again. "I will beat up that soldier," he scowled before getting up and returned with a cold wet towel. It rest helped smoothing the pain in my leg a bit, but didn't stop my heart from racing. He grabbed my wrist and pressed on the underside,— searching for my artery. "Your spark is beating too fast. You need to see Ratchet quickly. I can't believe you haven't said anything to me the other day."

"I didn't want too. You have had a tough and busy day. I didn't want to saddle you up with this too."

He shot me a glare. Sideswipe really seemed to angry with me. "I care about you! I don't like seeing people beating you up! It's not a talk for now!" He snapped and slammed the bathroom door closed. He came out ten minutes later and picked me up. He said nothing as he headed for the medbay.

Carefully he laid me down and Ratchet immediately gave me extra oxygen and injected me. Sideswipe left, I don't know why, he just walked off.
